Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Tell us about yourself: I'm an autistic, married, mid-30s Canadian, with three fatass cats who slings coffee and donuts for a living. I mostly tag later in the evening as I work most days, currently afternoons and early evenings (my shifts end anywhere from 6PM to 8PM EST, with my weekends off) but I'm currently still near the start of a week long mental health break so I have the week ahead and next weekend with no obligations on my time. I also like videogames, superhero media, historical non-fiction (especially Norse/Viking history), and generally prefer a prose style in RPing. I tried the brackets style but it's not for me, but feel free not to match if you don't wish to, I'm easy like Sundee morn. You may have also noticed I don't go in for brevity much, ah-ha.

Character Name & Journal: Chris Lightfellow at ofsilverflame
Tell us about them: Chris is the newly-appointed Captain of the Zexen Knights and even more recently the second Flame Champion who just led a resurgent Fire Bringer army consisting of her own countrymen, the Grassland clans, mercenaries, and other assorted destined types into repelling an invasion from the local theocracy and also preventing a splinter group from blowing up a huge chunk of the continent. She's just coming from the post-game and is still grappling with a lot of things like her newfound immortality as a True Rune bearer and how best to continue to try bridging the gap between Zexen and the Grasslands, so all this is really something she doesn't need right now. Her familiar in Avalon is a Holly Elf, which is a fairy in a holly-themed dress. This is the best image I got.
Initial Ideas: I'm happy with keeping all of my TDM threads canon to give her a leg up on CR, and she's definitely going to be keeping an eye on Yuber, who was a member of that splinter group I mentioned above and is also here. She's also going to apply herself rather studiously to her magic studies (and won't be as bad at it in the game proper as she was struggling in some of her TDM threads) because Chris is actually quite bad at magic in-game, especially if you don't give her the True Water Rune which she's somewhat okay with. She'll also probably be pursuing a knighthood and trying to advance herself that way. Maybe a noble title later on, but for now I think she'll focus on what she knows and prefers.
Favorite Food: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I think despite her noble upbringing at heart she's sort of a meat and potatoes soul, but as long as it's hot and filling she'll be a happy camper. She works in the military, she's trained to eat whatever you put in front of her because you never know when your next meal is coming during a campaign.
Anything else: I don't have a permissions post set up, but if you're unsure feel free to slide me a PM, though in fights I don't mind her getting dinged up at all as long as it's not too serious (ask me about that first!). I love shitposts and partake of them frequently, so give me all you got and I shall do the same!

Tell us about them: Say hello to Yuzu Hiiragi, flower of the Pendulum Dimension, capable Action Duelist, and the cute girl that just appeared here in Avalon! 14 years old (almost 15), bisexual disaster, sweet, kind, has a temper, and named after a fruit... she's here with Healing Magic and the Ace Monster of her best friend back home, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! It's this but about the size of a house pet... it's a baby dragon, and it's like she has Yuya here with her, even when he isn't.

Initial Ideas: Hit me with anything! I'll be keeping all of my TDM threads canon. She's a badass adorable kind-hearted girly girl who is emotionally sensitive and wears a lot of pink. However, she does have a hot-temper and a paper fan that she'll hit you with if you get on her nerves.

Favorite Food: Sweet things! Things like chocolates are great, especially. She's also very fond of a lot of fruits, including those of the citrus variety. She's ended up with a mild fondness for pancakes as well thanks to a certain somebody's mother back home. What? It's not like she has a mother of her own.

Tell us about them: I've got someone from the Suikoden series, a JRPG franchise I had forgotten about and so had you! But with the original creators working on a spiritual successor I've been thinking about the games again. Which character would I bring to a game like Avalon, though? The series has an enormous cast and there were so many characters to choose from that were amusing, fun, morally gray and full of intrigue.
Anyway that's not what I'm bringing you, I'm bringing you Yuber. He is a chaosmongering, bloodthirsty war devil who loves destruction and the screams of the dying. It's not so much that he hates peace as it is that peace makes him feel like he's going to die. Usually he is a soft spoken fellow but he he can go from a 2/10 in energy to 15/10 in an instant if he gets angry or excited. Yuber will have healing magic much to his initial frustration. His familiar is a Bone Dragon, essentially a somewhat smaller version of his old servant.
Initial Ideas: Losing his powers and his connection to his homeworld will make Yuber even MORE violent initially but also comparatively weak. Expect him to become a lot more dangerous as he learns to adjust to his new limitations. I'm sure he will eventually get in touch with the Avalon Dark Web which will be good since he can satisfy some of his bloodthirsty cravings with quests posted there.... Some of them. If you are ever in the mood to pointlessly murder your character hit me up. Yuber does not need an excuse to off someone.
Important Note- While blood is always on Yuber's mind there is some nuance to him beyond just mindless bloodthirst. The network or a dead drop will always be the safest way to contact him but running into him in person isn't a guaranteed fight either. It will be entirely possible to run into him in person and be completely fine.
Favorite Food: He's never had to eat before. Someone please help this man or he'll end up sitting in a grocery store eating a can of catfood

Hey there! Yuber is totally my favorite from Suikoden, but I tend to be the person who likes the antagonists. I enjoyed our test drive so far and will tag back to that if you still want to continue! I think our two could have fun CR since they are so alike and with power loss are also pretty evenly matched.

Your comment about helping Yuber in regards to food gave me an evil idea about Hawk introducing a demon to alcohol though.

Tell us about yourself: I play lots of video games and mostly weird niche stuff like Ys. I also read and sometimes do crafts. Also, I haven't been in a game for over a year, and haven't been in a non-murdergame since maybe 2016 or so. So please forgive me for being a bit rusty in regards to playing in games that don't involve murder every week.

Character Name & Journal: Hawk | notquitetamed
Tell us about them: Hawk is what is called a Monstrum which means he has a very fun curse that turned him into what amounts to a shapeshifter. He's got a human form and a Monstrum form, so things will be fun if he ever reveals his human form since he'll still be able to do the appearance swap (which makes icons fun, I'm still not even done with those yet). Hawk is a rather hostile and violent sort of person. He's the sort to openly speak his mind and has no problems with insults. He'll gladly talk about how bored he is tagging along for sidequests, how dumb their enemies are, how the Hieroglyph Knights need more training, and so on. He is a party member and so he's not completely a terrible person, but he's also not exactly a good person. He's also got a fun bird theme going on that I'm keeping up by having given him a hawk for his familiar. His familiar will have a coloring similar to a black hawk eagle, so a hawk with blue-black feathers. Also, he's really smart and learns things quickly, to the point that I actually have to nerf that ability in regards to magic. At least he'll learn modern tech fast.
Initial Ideas: At first I'm mostly seeking CR who isn't going to be scared of him and I'm good with making TDM threads canon. People who can match or beat him in a fight and people who will give as good as they get in a conversation. He respects people who are strong in general even if that strength isn't physical. I think this will be a good setting for him because magic will give him something else he's not initially good at.
Favorite Food: Stuff that goes well with alcohol and would be served in a bar. He's not overly picky, especially if it's free. I honestly imagine the Dandelion staff shoving some food in front of him every now and then to make sure he ate something.

Tell us about yourself: I have a degree in literature, I am a classically trained violinist, an avid reader (as if the degree didn't give it away), a sufferer of autoimmune arthritis and an animal lover.

Character Name & Journal: Nigihayami Kohakunushi (Kohaku/Haku for short) and his journal is this one!
Tell us about them: He is a dragon spirit from the movie Spirited Away! If you haven't seen the movie, I suggest you do so right now. It's a beautiful example of art and creativity. Haku isn't the main character, but he's such a darling (despite being a ferocious dragon) that I don't know how anyone could resist him. At present, he looks to be about 12 - physically, at least. I have a feeling he is much older (though likely still young by spirit standards).
Initial Ideas: This boy needs friends. He can be a bit standoffish at first with some - maybe even downright arrogant - but he has a heart of gold and he truly cares about the safety of others. I would also like for him to work on his animal magic so that he can transform back into his true self eventually. (His true self being a dragon. The same as his familiar!)
Favorite Food: Rice-balls maybe? I don't think the movie ever says, but he does make some bomb rice-balls for Chihiro.
Anything else: Enjoy Ghibli soundtracks!

Character Name & Journal: Claude von Riegan / leicesters
Tell us about them: The leader of one of the titular three houses, the Golden Deer house, and now leader of the Leicester Alliance. Claude is easygoing, charming and friendly, but he's also described as having a smile that doesn't always reach his eyes. While he's easy to joke around with, he's hard to get to know, and keeps his secret ambitions close to his chest. He has a reputation of being both a schemer and a master tactician, but he actually prefers peaceful diplomacy to waging war. For anyone canon familiar, he's taken from the end of Chapter 20 of Verdant Wind.
Initial Ideas: Claude's going to be insatiably curious about Avalon and the people in it, including fellow characters from other worlds. He's going to explore all of the things and pester all of the people. He'll also try to hone his magic... even if he isn't very good at it. He has dark magic, and his familiar is a white wyvern.
Favorite Food: Claude loves any kind of meat or fish dishes! He's a carnivore. He's not so big on sweet foods.
Anything else: pretty sure this is how the should've gone...



Character Name & Journal: Yusuke Kitagawa / wantsnudes
Tell us about them: Art student by daylight, Phantom Thief by moonlight, always draining his bank account without a real fight... He is the one codenamed Fox :( Yusuke is an eccentric painter who has devoted his life to an obsessive pursuit of art. He loves all things beautiful and #aesthetic, and he's something of an oddball who marches to the beat of his own drum. As a cliche starving artist, he's terrible with finances and tends to splurge all his money on his artistic pursuits. Because of his past experiences, however, he has a deep sense of justice, and joined the Phantom Thieves in order to save the powerless and punish the corrupt. He's apped in from P5's base game continuity, so he'll have no knowledge of Royal happenings.
Initial Ideas: Much like Claude, Yusuke will be keen to explore ALL THE THINGS, though in his case it's because he wants to see all of the architecture and art. I'm considering having him attend school, as he's still a high school student in canon. (and lbr... it would help with his eternally awful ability to deal with finances) His familiar is a kitsune, and he has light magic.
Favorite Food: JAGARIKO... is forever his favourite snack. As for foods, Leblanc curry tastes best because it's free. :')

Tell us about them: Maruki is the new counsellor at Shujin academy, a friendly and warm guy who wants people to be happy! He's a bit of a personal disaster, clumsy, a dweeb, the kind of guy who tries to get a cat out of a tree and gets scratched for his trouble. But he's here to listen to all your problems and try to help you solve them. He is also coming fresh off his Persona's full awakening, fully convinced that pain is not necessary for the human experience. No way that could go wrong, right?

Initial Ideas: Meeting people is definitely important for him, he'll be wanting to help people in Avalon from the outset. He's also very curious about Avalon's magic, so if anyone has a particular interest in the lore of the land, I would love to get him talking to them!!

Tell us about yourself: Hello! LWP here, zoologist, reader, writer, and all-around nerd thirsty to learn new things. This is my first game after a few-months break of sticking to memes and PSLs, so definitely eager to dive into things.

Character Name & Journal: Makoto Kino, roseeclair
Tell us about them: You know about Sailor Moon, right? Lots of sparkles and rose petals, minute-long transformation sequences (or one panel in the manga, TBF), tiny miniskirts that would make Roy Mustang proud? Yup, this is the green one, and the muscle of the group. Okay but seriously, Makoto’s the reincarnation of the princess of Jupiter and one of the royal guards to Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. Back home, that gives her super strength and, when transformed as Sailor Jupiter, the ability to control lightning and plants. But just as valuable to the team is her being a grade-A mom friend. Not only is she protective, she’s caring to the form of doting, quick to make someone lunch or celebrate their birthday, and she’s just cheerful and easygoing and basically a St. Bernard in human form. Still, don’t mess with her or her loved ones; she might not be able to toss you over her head like a barrel in Donkey Kong yet in Avalon, but she’s working on getting back to that point.
Initial Ideas: Makoto’s been granted Elemental magic, and she’ll want to practice hard with her magic and train physically so she can shoot lightning again and get closer to her former level of physical strength. But most importantly she wants to make sure she and Usagi keep a roof over her heads, so she’s most likely going to look for a job: she’d be very well suited to something involving cooking, baking, or gardening, but she won’t be too picky either. Mostly just settling in and looking for friends while looking out for Usagi and helping save the world. (Also, she’s a sucker for bishounen, but I’ll try to ask about that beforehand, and please let me know if you’d rather not have Makoto get dokis for your character, your comfort is important!)
Favorite Food: Homecooked meals, whether it’s Japanese fair like homemade bento boxes or yakiniku, or Western recipes like meatloaf and cherry pie. She’s also a fiend for tea; any blend with rose is instantly her favorite, but she also loves discovering new teas.

Tell us about yourself: I'm an MST Canadian, I play a lot of video games (mostly Final Fantasy XIV, Genshin Impact and Persona 5 Strikers at the moment), and I dabble in some 3D rendering as well (mainly just FF and Nier stuff)! I work from home right now, so my tagging usually comes in the mornings/afternoons, and I try to tag back at least every 1-2 days, but sometimes it's 3, depending on how busy work gets. Character Name & Journal: Lightning Farron | fulgurated
Tell us about them: Lightning comes from a world that's run by false gods - the fal'Cie - who brand people as l'Cie to carry out their wishes, or a so-called "focus". She is a bit of prickly pear (though not as prickly as last time) who hates gods because of that, usually coming off as cold and way too independent for her own good, but don't let that Resting Bitch Face fool you!

Deep down, she has a soft side and a big heart, and she will do just about anything to protect the people she cares about. She's not the greatest at showing Emotions or talking about them, and whether she likes to admit it or not, she has a lot of them and also has a bit of a maternal side to her. She's a strong leader and doesn't take shit from anyone, and will always tell things like it is, but at the same time, she can be encouraging and she wants to help people grow and BE STRONG.
Initial Ideas: Nothing set in stone right now! She'll initially be very frustrated about being in a new world, especially when her own is currently going to shit, but Lightning will warm up eventually, and will be around to help out where she can. I'd like to have her try to hone her new healing magic, so people she can learn from would be awesome! Other than that, she'll mostly be trying to keep trouble at bay and learn about the world and all of the people in it while she does!
Favorite Food: It's not canonically stated what Lightning's favourite food is, but I like to think it's something sweet like cake, and she'll have a hard time admitting that.

Character Name & Journal: Rinea silvergarden
Tell us about them: Rinea! Looking and acting like she just walked out of a princess shoujo manga, Rinea is the fiancée to the Rigelian Empire's heir apparent (turned heir presumptive lol, things don't go well for him). However, she absolutely hates court life and has spent most of her years being an uncomfortable wallflower to avoid conflict. She adores dancing, though, and will do quite well for herself when placed among plants and friendlier people with less ulterior motives.

Unfortunately for Rinea, I've taken her from the absolute gulf of her fiance's corruption arc so she's entering Avalon severely shellshocked and unmoored from her sense of self.
(also despite being from a Fire Emblem game Rinea is a civilian NPC and has no combat training to speak of lmfao)

Initial Ideas: IT'S MOTHER FUCKIN CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT TIME Here are some bullet points of just some Stuff
• culture shock comedy lollll
• rinea canonically "will sway to the beat of any music within earshot" but she definitely only knows ballroom dancing so she's about to get her little medieval mind blown
• Will get along well with encouraging characters (no matter how brusque they are about it LOL), or other polite and formal Victorian Manners esque characters.
• I gave her nerd magic (alchemy) so she may need escorts at points to retrieve ~rare potion ingrdients or w/e
• Rinea's familiar is also An entire fucking monster so that will be fun to play with
• coming to terms with the fact that she is definitely dead back home and it's actively her beloved fiance's doing and WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH HERSELF (and her relationship to him) NOW but rinea will need to get to know other people here better before we whip this one out, for maximum fun

Also I'm happy for TDM threads to be canon!

Favorite Food: GOOD QUESTION! Rinea comes from a very cold country with not-very-arable land. Her favorites are probably hot foods, or sweets, which would be more difficult to come by. In this game your units can eat raw flour so Things Are Kinda Rough out there

Character Name & Journal: Takashi Natsume | spiritually
Tell us about them: Natsume is a soft boy who can see spirits (youkai and ayakashi and ghosts and demons, oh my!) in a world where very few people still can, so he's often interpreted as being creepy/not well in the head/etc. to the point that he ends up alienated, passed around by relatives, and ultimately ends up at a couple's house who supports him despite his behavior. He's still adjusting to figure out who he is and accept himself and struggles to learn how to navigate a safe and accepting environment when most of his life pre-series hasn't presented him with one. He does this while working with a drunken absolute unit of a cat (sort-of) youkai who agrees to be his bodyguard in exchange for an item called the Book of Friends when he dies; this book is a collection of youkai names his grandmother gathered that only he is able to return to those youkai, as he has the same blood as she does. Along the way he learns about youkai and humans both, and ends up loving both because on both sides of the spectrum he's experienced as much love, friendship, protection, and understanding as he has abuse, bullying, kidnapping, sacrifice, witnessed murder, and nearly been eaten/killed. He has a lot of power but doesn't really know how to use it and doesn't want to abuse it, he just wants to do right by everyone and find his place in the world. He is a soft boy and will help just about anyone, even if it puts himself at risk. He has a lot of difficulty trusting others because of his past and can take a little while to warm up to humans (and is much faster with non-humans, as he doesn't feel the need to hide himself from them).

He's kind of quiet, but he's getting better at opening up and trusting some people if he thinks they can understand, while being able to better navigate around those who can't to still have a meaningful friendship. He's very warm and loving and is willing to do anything for other people. He'll get himself in way over his head, all you have to do is ask. Or vaguely indicate that you need help of any level.
Initial Ideas: Natsume warms up to non-humans faster than humans naturally because he doesn't feel the need to lie to protect himself with them or avoid alienating others with his behavior, but since everyone can see the same things as him here, he'll find it easier. He'll get in way over his head easily, so what he's capable of isn't really an issue so long as he thinks he's helping and not harming anyone. (His first solution is never going to be violence/killing things.) /o/ He's canonly able to dreamwalk with youkai, so I'm looking forward to him getting to do that with humans now too with cognitive magic. He tends to do it accidentally a lot in canon so I assume that'll happen here and he'll have very little control over how he navigates others dreams beyond watching. He can't see spirits here, so it's going to be a new experience where everyone else can see almost the same things that he can. Mostly. Also: His familiar is a shikigami, which is only visible to the person who summoned it (or in this case, Natsume, because why wouldn't he have to deal with other people not being able to see his familiar). So there's a very good chance he's going to end up facing some level of similarity of talking to something that 'isn't there' that other people see in canon.

I'm also my mother's caregiver, so daytime hours are pretty busy and I do a lot of my tagging really late at night, but I'll sneak them in during the day where I can. Tell us about them: Balthier is a sky pirate who fancies himself a gentleman thief but is also a huge nerd who likes the historical and archeological aspects of raiding tombs almost as much as the treasure. He's also a gifted engineer and, generally, a very quick study, but he does make a point to pretend that his interests are material and self-centered. This is even less convincing than it was pre-canon, but he still has a flair for the theatrical and will talk openly about how much he doesn't care while his actions betray that he actually does care, a lot, about everything and everyone, don't @ him. For those who are canon familiar, he's coming in from the end of the original game but just before the epilogue, so he has some unfinished business nagging at him thanks to that. His familiar here is an Ivalice Moogle named Lulu!

Initial Ideas: I'm happy to keep any and all TDM threads canon! He's going to very quickly try to bury the fact that he's actually quite out of sorts about having been brought here and focus on the fact that coming to Avalon means a new world to explore and new treasures to seek out. He'll fall back into the role that's comfortable for him, which is being a thrill-seeking opportunist, but there's no telling how long that will last. Also, he's going to be very put-out about being grounded— if he had to be summoned here, it would have been nice if someone had let him bring his ship, so getting a vehicle of some kind of his own is also going to be very high on his list of goals.

Yona is a former-princess-turned-exile-turned-rebel-leader?? Look she's had a busy time in her manga and while she started out as a rather sheltered and naive little princess, she was forced to grow up very quickly when one of the people closest to her betrayed her deeply. She spent a lot of time on the run with people hunting her down and ended up following an old legend to find the spirits of four dragon guardians hidden in her lands, hoping to plead with them for their aid in surviving. She gets way more than she bargained for and is currently in the process of saving her lands from a multitude of disasters while also keeping her head attached to her shoulders.

She's also coming in as a CRAU from Aefenglom, where she's spent the last year as a witch learning enchantment and abjuration magic. She's pretty annoyed that she's just lost an entire year's worth of magical experience but at least she can apply her knowledge towards learning again - at least theoretically?

Initial Ideas: Mostly I'm winging it at this point while I learn more about the game and setting and such. She will definitely be throwing herself face first into magical learning for sure. She has elemental magic here and she's probably going to be struggling a bit until she figures out how to control that. But otherwise, mostly friends! People she could maybe continue to train with (she constantly practices both swordword and archery). She collects strays, misfits, and outcasts like pokemon. Also she is here for all things dragon, it is a Thing with her.

Favorite Food: There's a special recipe for a certain chicken stew she's loved ever since she was a child. But she's surprisingly fond of simple noodle dishes and soups one would find in the common taverns in her land. Also Prompto may have gotten her addicted to fries and milkshakes in Aefenglom and she's never recovered.

Tell us about them: I said on the EMP that he is Ursula from the Little Mermaid but a pretty high school boy, and I am only slightly oversimplifying. Azul is from Twisted Wonderland, a game wherein most of the characters are "twisted" from various Disney villains and adjacent (and by adjacent I mean "there's a boy who's the poison apple and one who's Maleifcent's lightning") and he is twisted from Ursula! He's...honestly kinda the worst, not gonna lie. He's polite and smart and claims to be generous, but he's very profit and success-focused and when it was his turn to help fix a problem, his idea was to just piss the guy off until he messed up. I mean it worked, but still. That being said he does have morals, even if they're skewed, and he's not an irredeemable asshole. That's what his focus chapter was about :D In canon he has an Unique Magic called It's a Deal that allows him to make deals with people ala Ursula, taking something from someone in exchange for something else or offering to help them with horribly one-sided arrangements that usually ends with the kids in question working at his lounge. (Yes, lounge. He made a deal with the headmaster his first year that he would return all the magic students had signed away to him in exchange for opening a freaking "gentleman's lounge" on campus.)

He's terrible and I love him.

Initial Ideas: He's missing his flunkies/muscle, so he'll probably be keen to find some replacements, but otherwise I'm open for all sorts of CR! People who'll be Overly Nice to him, people he can sweet talk into trusting him, people who want to throw him in the ocean (and see his super-secret octopus merman form he keeps hidden), all sorts! He's also probably going to eventually want to go into business, because that's what this idiot does.

Favorite Food: According to translations, "deep fried food". He'll never admit it, though, because he has some body image issues because kids are assholes. This also raises some questions, namely he's a merman under the sea how do they deep fry anything is is magic??

Tell us about them: A little shit of a child, I play them at the age of 12 thus playing them at the older end of the age scale that fandom places them at, Chara pretty much died a long time ago to try and get human souls to save monsters. Of course, that was a cover, as they wanted to get back at the people of their hometown and do murder, but alas they were foiled. ANYWAY, they end up dead and only come back once one Frisk shows up and decided to kill all monsters. Chara shows up at the end of that, so that's how we get to meet them and they congratulate you/Frisk on the whole killing thing. Then they kinda jumpscare you and attack you, so yeah. Like I said, a little shit. Then when you try to play Undertale after that? They'll make an offer to bring the world back for something important, and thus your file is changed forever because it's pretty heavily implied that by trading Frisk's SOUL for the world means Chara can come back, and that is basically where Chara is taken from. The good end after selling your soul.

Also Chara uses they/them pronouns, as canon does with them and Frisk.

Initial Ideas: Getting settled in, for one. Chara is going to not like their familiar one bit (because it's a goat and will like a goat eat everything). I gave them dark magic, so having them deal with that could be fun, esp. since it's so different from their time resetting/determination powers from home.

Any CR is welcomed too, Chara is pretty good at faking it till they make it so they won't outright be hostile to humans. But non-humans will have a better chance at getting on their good side, and it's obvious non-humans. Sorry human looking guys.
Favorite Food: Chocolate, this is somewhat canon as there are two lines in the Genocide run that can be attributed to Chara and they happen in Toriel's house and Asgore's house. Both have to do with the fact that one place has chocolate and the other does not. So, yeah. Kid has a sweet tooth.

Tell us about them: On the outside, he's a lazy teenager with a sharp tongue and a rude attitude. On the inside... he's still all of those things! But also a trained war tactician from a whole family of war tacticians with, uh, only a few actual battles under his belt so far. He's doing alright, though, okay? He's also a lot more caring than he likes to let onto and his rival — who also happens to be his brother — has no problem pointing out his soft side for throwing in with the underdogs of the war they're both involved in. That all said, if there isn't a war on for him to deal with, he'd rather just be napping.

Initial Ideas: Well, he's brand new, so "any CR is welcome CR" is accurate. More specifically, maybe other teenagers who actually know how to be, like, a normal teen or nerdy folks akin to his usual nerdy traveling companion to get roped into projects with (he won't enjoy it but it'll be something to do). Since he has Cognitive magic and is very nap motivated, I do plan on doing a log of him accidentally wandering into people's dreams. He has zero experience with magic himself, so this is going to be a mess.

Exiled by his people, Thrawn was found by the Empire and drafted into the Imperial Fleet, where he quickly rose to the rank of Grand Admiral. Thrawn is super smart and a military genius, able to stay one step ahead of his enemies and plan out strategies that use his enemies' weaknesses against them. He's also got a unique ability to get a reading on a culture or individual just by looking at their artwork.
Initial Ideas: I'm open for any CR at the moment, but some things in particular might be characters from other sci-fi worlds (esp. fellow aliens) and artists, so he can do "the art thing". An excuse for him to go into "dad mode" with kids might also be fun, since he actually has a soft spot for young kids.

so Kratos is actually a bit of CR I'd be very excited to keep going with Chris because, I don't know if you're at all familiar with her game but her dad was also a secret immortal who was involved in the war fifty years before that hers was kind of a sequel too, so there are interesting parallels between her situation and Kratos with Lloyd I think would be fun to explore, especially since she's a newly-made immortal now herself. Plus he just seems like a cool dude and she appreciated his help.

Tell us about them: Nozomi is a klutzy magical girl, though very well-meaning. She's a sweetheart who will happily drag people into things without thinking much, usually with a cry of "It's Decided!"

And, she's not the real Nozomi. This Nozomi was created at Mayfield as one of many to be a plaything in that computerized hellscape, but a rebellion from their captors lead to her and others being taken to another computerized world. However, her story wouldn't end there, being dragged into an Equestria where she became real (and a unicorn) and later the world of Valkunthia, a Final Fantasy-based world where she and others were given the title "Hero of Light". So, she's been around the block a bit and understands the "isekai" aspect now.

Iroh is basically an avuncular old man who has learned a lot by opening his mind, and is happy to share what he has learned. He has a fixation with tea and enjoys good food. While his dream is to retire from fighting and settle down to a life of peace, opening a tea shop... he will do whatever he has to, in order to protect those he loves.
Initial Ideas:
Family. Blood related and not. Cast mates and not. He is amiable and after what he will learn from Zuko upon arrival, is doing his best to keep an open mind about everyone.
Favorite Food/drink: Tea. Always tea. Eternally tea.
Anything else: I also already have a few other kiddos in game I am happy to plot for:
Rhia - Forest girl with wings. She's been living in the woods since she arrived. As the weather warms, she'll get more sociable and be less like a hibernating chipmunk that gets hyperactive during her brief times awake.
Donovan - If Iroh liked puns instead of tea. (Like REALLY liked puns) and played the guitar and sang wonderfully, instead of singing unevenly like Iroh, you'd be halfway to Donovan. Donovan is more paternal than avuncular, and his wisdom usually comes with a few bad bad jokes attached. He always wears pink and usually can be found singing in the various inns, taverns, and tea shops.
Kyoko - Kyoko is a teenager who swaps emotions so fast it could give yo whiplash. She internalizes a lot and sometimes doesn't realize that she's stopped talking midsentence. She's a method actress who sometimes gets taken over by her roles. She currently works at the coffee shop.
Xigbar - If you RP with him please expect KHIII spoilers. Without them I can say that he has a creepy look, between the scarring and the eye patch and the skunk striped hair. And that he is feigning amnesia, because he thinks it is hilarious, and as such is channeling some of the others from home as he tries to reinvent himself into this new life. He has been named Burns. Which given the lack of sideburns and the lack of fire magic, he thinks is hilarious. Easily amused, often at the expense of others. I appologize for him in advance.

Tell us about yourself: Main hobby is RP, but I also read and write a bit and I have a lot of plants. I have an eight year old cat called Fluffy who I am a little obsessed with. I'm in GMT and during the week will usually tag between 6pm and 11pm if I'm not too tired. At the weekends it can be all day if I have nothing else to do.

Character Name & Journal: Poison writtendestiny
Tell us about them: Poison is a very little-known character from a YA novel by Chris Wooding of the same name, and anyone who knows who she is get a cookie. She's a stubborn and contrary young woman who is currently carrying three CRAUs and has been through a lot. It's sometimes hard to make CR with her because she isn't always too friendly initially, but at this point that's just her way of protecting herself. She has two cats - a regular-looking black one and a cat/octopus hybrid that enjoys dropping onto people from ceilings. Though she tries to hold people at arms length she really does love having friends, it just gets diffciult when you've already lost so much.
Initial Ideas: The first and most important CR I really want for her is just someone to care about her. Hell, even if she doesn't want it. She can make people dislike her easily but that's not the kind of thing she needs in abundance even if she wouldn't really care. I'm also finally intending to have her work through the trauma she's been through in her previous games, as this is her first non-horror scenario.
Favorite Food: A particular kind of home-made mushroom soup, made out of small marsh mushrooms.

Character Name & Journal: Thanatos inevitablerest
Tell us about them: The awkward, taciturn god of death from the 2018 video game Hades. Thanatos is not the best conversationalist and keeps himself to himself, but as with most characters like this he has a depth of emotion running under the surface that he isn't really able to express properly. He reacts to conflict with people he cares about by disappearing for days at a time and is never really sure of how to react to his own feelings. Being mortal is going to be an incredible shock to his system, and we're going to have some baby deer moments because he's used to floating everywhere, not actually walking.
Initial Ideas: I honestly apped this guy on a complete whim and I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'm open to anything. He's going to be quite jumpy at first, especially once the enormity of everything settles on him and he realises that he's actually very much alone here. I expect it will be fun.
Favorite Food: He doesn't really eat, but doesn't say no to nectar/ambrosia occasionally.
