Hello everyone! As per the poll results, from here on out we will be posting an OOC intro at the start of our processing apps, with multiple reminders on plurk to check it out. In addition, as per suggestions commented to the pool, we will be linking this in Acceptance Messages and on the most recent Test Drive Meme.

OOC Intros


Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

<b>Player Name:</b> Whatever you want us to call you. <b>Contact:</b> Plurk, Discord, whatever it is you use. Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name & Journal:</b> Character name and journal here! <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. (We know you want to!) <b>Initial Ideas:</b> We know you're just getting started off here so you may not have any solid goals for where you want to go yet, but let us know if there's anything you're looking for to start off with! Types of CR, parts of the setting you want to play with, magic you want to have your character have a disaster with, whatever floats your boat. <b>Favorite Food:</b> This section is going to change for each OOC intro, we just want to put something fun each time. :) This time, put your character's favorite food! <b>Anything else:</b> Permissions, opt-outs, shitposting, etc.

And haha ALAS Baldr didn't show up until the second story arc that never saw the light of day in the US, but I'm always happy to find more Tales fans! Which ones have you played?

Vesperia is my favourite, but I've also played Graces, Xillia 1&2, and a little of Abyss, Symphonia and Berseria. I also used to play Link very briefly before that got canned :')

Pour one out for Link... it was a darn good game, honestly.

I confess I have not actually finished Vesperia (and I really have no excuse for not doing so now that the Definitive Edition exists) but Graces is one of my favorites-- I used to RP Richard back in the day. I've definitely gained much more of an appreciation for the Vesperia cast via Rays, though! (And actually, Baldr spent most of arc 2 co-inhabiting Flynn's body... IT'S A LONG STORY haha)

That sounds wild tbh... Although better to be stuck in Flynn's body than Yuri's? ahaha. and Richard was one of my faves from Graces so you have excellent taste!
