Hello everyone! As per the poll results, from here on out we will be posting an OOC intro at the start of our processing apps, with multiple reminders on plurk to check it out. In addition, as per suggestions commented to the pool, we will be linking this in Acceptance Messages and on the most recent Test Drive Meme.

OOC Intros


Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Tell us about yourself: Name's Ashu, or Ash. I currently do nothing, aside from dink around online and I also RP over at Ryslig as Lapis Lazuli. Uh, hobbies are RPing and video games, so there is that. And yeah, not much else to say about myself.

Character Name & Journal: Chara corruptedsave
Tell us about them: A little shit of a child, I play them at the age of 12 thus playing them at the older end of the age scale that fandom places them at, Chara pretty much died a long time ago to try and get human souls to save monsters. Of course, that was a cover, as they wanted to get back at the people of their hometown and do murder, but alas they were foiled. ANYWAY, they end up dead and only come back once one Frisk shows up and decided to kill all monsters. Chara shows up at the end of that, so that's how we get to meet them and they congratulate you/Frisk on the whole killing thing. Then they kinda jumpscare you and attack you, so yeah. Like I said, a little shit. Then when you try to play Undertale after that? They'll make an offer to bring the world back for something important, and thus your file is changed forever because it's pretty heavily implied that by trading Frisk's SOUL for the world means Chara can come back, and that is basically where Chara is taken from. The good end after selling your soul.

Also Chara uses they/them pronouns, as canon does with them and Frisk.

Initial Ideas: Getting settled in, for one. Chara is going to not like their familiar one bit (because it's a goat and will like a goat eat everything). I gave them dark magic, so having them deal with that could be fun, esp. since it's so different from their time resetting/determination powers from home.

Any CR is welcomed too, Chara is pretty good at faking it till they make it so they won't outright be hostile to humans. But non-humans will have a better chance at getting on their good side, and it's obvious non-humans. Sorry human looking guys.
Favorite Food: Chocolate, this is somewhat canon as there are two lines in the Genocide run that can be attributed to Chara and they happen in Toriel's house and Asgore's house. Both have to do with the fact that one place has chocolate and the other does not. So, yeah. Kid has a sweet tooth.
Anything else: I have an Opt-Out since I know some folks may not want to play with a little murder brat. So there it is.

I so am looking forward to ploting CR for Chara with Kyoko and Xigbar. (We discussed Xigbar on the ATP, if I recall correctly.)

For Kyoko... She gets taken over by her roles fairly easily and I can't wait to see how explosively terrible (or surprisingly wonderful?) things go if/when Chara meets her darker selves. Especially Ms. Mio. I gave her light magic because it is freaking hilarious. But her familiar is a grudge spirit/grudge demon that is drawn to pure hate and anger. So.... >.>
