Hello everyone! As per the poll results, from here on out we will be posting an OOC intro at the start of our processing apps, with multiple reminders on plurk to check it out. In addition, as per suggestions commented to the pool, we will be linking this in Acceptance Messages and on the most recent Test Drive Meme.

OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Pronouns: Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are.
Tell us about yourself: Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know.

Tell us about them: Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. Tell us about yourself: Hi I'm Ryo and I'm terrible at this part!! I am a great big D&D nerd, I do art commissions (except like this month because I'm moving HOPEFULLY if all goes according to plan) and aside from work I think that's about all the excitement going on in my life right now. My usual tagging times are evenings EST during the week and once I move out my weekends will be pretty much completely free.

Also I play Zelgadis

Character Name & Journal: Kratos Aurion

Tell us about them: Kratos is a magical swordsman mercenary who was hired to escort the Chosen of Mana on her Journey of Regeneration to save the world. Except! Twist! It's all horseshit and Kratos is actually a 4000 year old angel who had been one of the people pulling the strings of this bogus journey thing behind the scenes THE WHOLE TIME. AND THEN, ANOTHER TWIST! He's also the main dude's shitty shitty dad. Kratos is very twisty.

Initial Ideas: Nothing solid but I am cool to keep any TDM threads canon!

Favorite Food: Just don't give this man a tomato.

so Kratos is actually a bit of CR I'd be very excited to keep going with Chris because, I don't know if you're at all familiar with her game but her dad was also a secret immortal who was involved in the war fifty years before that hers was kind of a sequel too, so there are interesting parallels between her situation and Kratos with Lloyd I think would be fun to explore, especially since she's a newly-made immortal now herself. Plus he just seems like a cool dude and she appreciated his help.

Also, I feel like this is bad to mention, but Lina Inverse has long been one of my perennial maybe-muses (I have every season on DVD and BD) and there's a Zelgadis and Amelia now so...I am strongly tempted.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar, BUT, I am already loving this CR and I think it would be super interesting to dive into the parallels! He would argue that he is not at all "cool", but he is glad to be of service.

Oh man even if you just TDM her some time I would love to bounce off Lina. BUT WHAT WOULD SHE DO WITHOUT HER DRAGON SLAVES?

Awesome, glad you're psyched for it too! If/when they learn each other's pasts they would definitely have stuff to talk about. XD

I'm Caprica, with, obviously, said Chosen that will ???? at Kratos probably remembering more because I am taking her from the Final Seal because easier earlier canon point to refresh up to and maybe eventually update her later but yes. Kratos can either spill the tea or just. Keep. Very quiet and hope nobody else shows up from home to Ruin that for him lol. idk if we would want to do a new proper like. Intro thing? since I kinda figured test drives would be easier to assume they had met up prior sort of thing?

Though I do love that explanation about Kratos. Perf. The most accurate. Yes. Kratos the most twisty angel dad. So sneaky. So many secrets gosh. Rude.

I think he will spill the tea eventually because he wouldn't like the idea of Colette thinking that she's still just destined to be a sacrifice, but he's also a moron and has no idea how to approach that topic (or any topic. "btw I'm Lloyd's secret dad" like HOW DO YOU SAY THAT).

We can totally do a proper intro thread! I can probably toss together some kind of log after work unless you have an open log somewhere or something? I can roll with anything, I'm flexible.

I don't have a catch all yet for this month but I'm hoping to try get something up maybe after work Fri or Saturday perhaps? If you get something up before then that's totally fine though and I can tag in with her there instead. I know I do def want to do the bunny prompt for example though, that is just too cute and perf given her whole snow bunny thing in Flanoir later on in the game.

Hi Ryo! I love the Tales series as a whole and Kratos is definitely up as one of my favorite characters so I'm pretty glad to see someone playing this emotionally constipated deadbeat.
