If your character fails tests 1 or 6, they fail the other tests unless someone gets them to participate, as they would not be subjected to them. You can participate in this poll by plotting what your character's choices are/would be, the thread does not have to be underway for you to participate. We as mods just need to know so we can write where the game proceeds next.

Poll #26874 POLL: April Event Decision - Vote before 4/29 at 11:59PM PST
Open to: Access List, detailed results viewable to: Just the Poll Creator, participants: 64

What do we do about the Fisher King?

Leave the Fisher King where he is and allow the Unnamed Marshes to die and the Land of Rot grow over. - Do not enter the Bermuda Station.
4 (6.2%)

Retrieve Fisher King and Imprison him in the Land of Rot
11 (17.2%)

Retrieve the Fisher King and return him to Queen Elphame, as originally intended.
55 (85.9%)

Other (please note that King Arthur does not want him anywhere near Camelot and will order Knights to interfere with plans to do so).
2 (3.1%)

Notes:
  • The 1st item will mean Bermuda Station is never unlocked as a location. It will cause drastic environmental change for the Unnamed Marshes, the Land of Rot, and the destruction of the Forest of the Fisher King.
  • The 2nd and 3rd items will mean that the Unnamed Marshes will remain as-is (but healthier and the creatures who went to fight the Forest of the Fisher King for resources will return home). Both require entering Bermuda Station.
  • You can vote for as few or as many options as you like.
  • If you vote "Other," comment or +1 someone else's existing comment or your "Other" vote will not count.

Hello! It's your friendly neighborhood Taymod with a poll regarding the recent test drive meme prompts. (For those who are unfamiliar, you cannot post polls from unpaid accounts, which is why I am signed into a character account, but this is an official mod post!) If you haven't given them a look, please at least read through the summaries to get an idea of what is going on. It's fine to handwave your responses. Here are the guidelines for responding to the poll:
  • The poll can be filled out once per active character in Isle of Avalon.

  • Yes, still vote if your character did not participate in each task. You may handwave participation if you didn't have time to thread yet, but if your character IC did not participate, please include that information.

  • If you haven't reached the point in your thread where your character has come across this choice yet, please discuss and plot it out with the person you are threading with ahead of the end of the poll period.

  • If your character does something that isn't covered in the poll responses and you believe it may have an effect on the outcomes of the poll, please let us know in the comments.

  • Everyone should vote in this poll, including new characters. We are having the poll live through 11:59pm PST on Feb. 16th in order to allow for all new applicants to participate. To that end, the OOC plot post won't go up until the 18th. See calendar for more details.

Hi everyone and I want to thank the great turnout of you who voted in our poll about changes to our schedule and event prompt options. I wanted to formally announce the results as well as another related change that we will be making. Going forward:
    • Polls will have at least 1 week after the initial plotting post goes up (69% of the vote. Noice.)
    • Plotting posts will go up on the 15th of each month. The event will be on the 17th on normal months, and 22nd if there is a poll involved.
      • Though this is a slight variation of what was initially polled, after mod discussion based on the result that did pull forward with 56.6% of the vote (plotting on 15th, event on 22nd during polls), Taylor will absolutely forget about date changes because she forgets anything that isn't on a set schedule.
      • This will also provide more time for people to gather AC for the month with event threads, so we hope that this change benefits players overall as well.
    • We will continue writing event prompts with the same number of options. (81% of the vote.)
Please note that the date changes have been reflected on this month's calendar. Let us know if you have any questions.

Hello everyone! As you may be aware, we recently received feedback on the current event and we want to hear and consider everyone's thoughts. There are a couple of things that we're happy to move forward with, like adding in some descriptions for game functions into the FAQ, coming up with a less text-heavy event style, and adding in a sort of 'quick info' box to events that contain quick reference information. However, a few other things that were suggested would change things that could potentially have an effect on players due to scheduling changes or prompt variety, so we wanted to ask you first to get an idea on how the game at large feels about these topics.

Sorry for the delay on this! We appreciate feedback so that we can know what best works for the most people going forward. Please pick your top choice and back-up choice style from those that have been showcased over the last couple TDMs and events. (Examples linked within.)

Here is the poll for the trials! Feel free to reply to the post if you have any questions or aren't sure what best fits.

    Instructions:
    • Answer with the response that best fits the action your characters took during the trial.
    • One vote per character.
    • If your character found a loophole or cheated and therefore neither choice was made, put "trial voided."
    • If your character did not do a trial (you can handwave if you want your character to have gone through it but did not thread it out, or not have them participate in any you don't want them to go through) select "Did not participate."
    • The last question is not a specific trial but technically definitely speaks to morality. If your character killed anyone participating in the trial outside of necessity to complete it, that counts as like a secret trial bc y'all didn't need to kill anyone for any of these.

Celliwig stands in the way between Camelot and Elphame for open communication. After King Arthur made an attempt to negotiate with Celliwig last month as things are currently, the choice was brought to the people in an effort to provide a democratic state for New Camelot on suggestion of King Arthur's advisers. People want to feel in control of their fate, and have a right to do so.

Hello everyone! It's your friendly neighborhood Taymod!

Today we have a poll regarding how OOC intros are posted after some feedback from multiple players and our own observations. We ultimately couldn't come to a decision on what the most effective method would be, so we are coming to you now to see what our current players would prefer.

Please respond to this poll by 11:59pm PST on March 1st. (This will give us time to announce the results before the app period begins and implement changes if necessary.)

Hello! Tay-mod here. It's time for a poll to collect information on what characters did with the "Mirror, Mirror" prompts from this month's Test Drive Meme.

You can include handwaved IC participation responses. You do not need to have threaded out participation to let us know what your character did in the poll, as we are more interested in what is ending up as game canon than we are rushing you to finish threads so please continue to enjoy threading however makes you happy.
