Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Other Characters? Brand new newbie fresh off the cart!
Tell us about yourself: I enjoy being able to boomerang so my favorite tag time tends to be after I've finished work, and on weekends or holiday breaks! I'm good with either action or prose, though I find action often gives the best of both worlds. I've been writing prose almost exclusively for the past year and a half.

As for hobbies, as you can probably tell I enjoy video games, with Final Fantasy (9, 13, and 14) and Assassin's Creed (Ezio trilogy and Unity) being my favorite series, at the moment. I'm a fan of a lot of anime, but most of it is older since I haven't had the time or drive to get into new stuff in a while. A lot of what I watch now is either Netflix or Youtube. I also play D&D, so there may be some nights when I'm not tagging.

Character Name (Canon): I'ziva Ganajai, from Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers. She's also a CRAU from Prismatica!
Tell us about them: Ziva is what is known as a ~~WoD, which is short for Warrior of Dumbass.~~ Warrior of Light in her universe, which is just FF terminology for "protagonist", but she wasn't always. She used to run with the Rogue's Guild in Limsa, and she runs far more Chaotic Good or Neutral Good than anything else. She tends to roll with what feels right according to her moral code and that leaves a lot of wiggle room for CR since she isn't too fussed with labels like "hero" and "villain". She's here to fulfill all your Dumbass Quota needs, be it someone to enable or do something ridiculous, or to get into dumb contests with.

Initial Ideas: I'm looking for everything, honestly. I want to toss her in head first, since I find learning a new setting usually works best for me as a player when done that way. I do also have a goal for Ziva to work towards, since she'll want to settle in like she had in her previous game. Avalon will be a lot more comfortable and closer to home for her despite the modern tech. In particular:

• Fellow Prisma CRAU's
• People she can have Big Sis CR towards
• People she can annoy but still be friends with
• Drinking and bar hopping buddies
• Castmates
• People her age (she's in that late 20's range at 28), though all ages are welcome (for gen CR, of course)
• People to have dumb contests with (drinking, arm wrestling, dice or card games, etc.)
• Inevitably people she can prank with her new kinetic (and eventually light) powers...

I'm just excited to be here and get to write this dumbass again!

Neutral/Chaotic Good is the only good to roll with in his opinion.

How's she feel about chasing out a gang from his neighborhood? Like, seriously? 'Protection fees'... also if you're gonna throw out an open log with any prompts, we can do that too; or wait until the event.

Oh she's absolutely ALL kinds of all for that (never mind the fact she hasn't started learning her new powers yet she'll do it regardless). I'll probably make a permanent catch-all where we could toss something up?

If the event is close at hand I also don't mind waiting if you prefer, but otherwise I'm down to get this rolling!

I am up for either or! If anything, it'll be accidentally interfering with a Dark Web quest if we go the catch-all... and honestly, the event is actually still over a week away haha

Yup! Sun's Out, Gun's Out specifically, though they'll be on the other side of it.

Sure sure! His neighborhood is pretty average to subpar, think mid-low income residential area that's seen better days, but does their best. The people are nice and the community close, but the gang's been around for a while. And with an aristocrat running the gang, it's not something to easily shake.

Oh well hello there!! I'm only just coming off of an unexpected hiatus but welcome Koree, I'm Cori :'D And I'm playing a certain mister ~~van~~ Baelsar here, so I'm especially excited to see another WoL for him to run into, if you're at all interested!

HELLO fellow Cori! The Corey's/Cori's/Koree's will slowly but surely take over the world, just you wait!

I am allllllll for this, thank you for reaching out! I'd love some CR with the former Black Wolf. I think that CR has a lot of fun potential and look forward to a chance to have them speak and maybe end up working together at some point, outside of the game.

I've also done the Werlyt questline with Ziva, if that's worth note.

It definitely helps to know, yes! I try my best to avoid spoilers for people, and Gaius still has a hard time talking about everything that happened regardless and won't normally bring it up, but he might use it as a way to gauge where in time she's coming from now that I know she's been through.

But man yes please, I'd love for them to be able to work together in the future. He hasn't met the other WoLs in Avalon, but he's a CRAU from Noctium so he's already met a few and it still weirds him out to know there's so many lol. I'm planning to put up a catch all log today or tomorrow now that I'm back, and you're more than welcome to hit it up with Ziva! Eventually event prompts will go on it, but for now it's just gonna be a couple from the TDM and some quests. Specifically carving and fighting possessed pumpkins and some headless horseman shenanigans.

All of this makes sense, and she probably won't push him about it (I only say probably because you never know with RP) unless she has a really good reason to.

If it comes up they can absolutely talk about how weird it is that there are so many others. She came from a really large cast at Prismatica herself, and was one of... I don't even remember how many all told, but there were at least six others at the same time at one given point.

I've also put up a catch-all for Ziva, and I'll be writing a starter in a little bit for someone else, so if you'd like I can toss one up for us as well! Just let me know if any particular setups sound good. Personally I think that battle shenanigans are always fantastic, but I also feel like the carving would be a really great conversation starter opportunity.

Also YES, if you're up for doing a starter I absolutely won't say no haha. Because I'm just in love with the idea of the big, menacing former Black Wolf of Garlemald sitting there trying to carve pumpkins, it'd be great. The perfect conversation starter. He has several roommates that would have dragged him there, Ziva would totally be able to run into him :>

Hello, Shiranna! I'm sure we were! I played there for a good while (not nearly as long as some of our vets but still). Forgive me but I may need a refresher on who you played at that time, just to jog my memory. Your previous handle sounds familiar enough it's right on the tip of my brain but I can't figure it out. It's been such a long time since Route even went by Route. (I FEEL OLD, my God.)

In any event, it's really nice to see you again, too! I've been hearing a bit about you (all good and fun things) from Nea, and I'm looking forward to an excuse to throw this idiot at your characters! I'm most familiar with Archer and Sokka (you probably know the latter already given who I played), but I know OF Mamoru and Jean as well. Ren is totally unfamiliar to me right now, though.

And I do think Archer needs more CR (even if he strongly disagrees) and Sokka is a social butterfly anyway.

Ah! Yes, I remember, it was probably Ed that I knew you through at R29? I played Alphonse there for a hot minute myself, but most of my stay was Katara. I also vaguely remember PoT (I was never canon familiar but the anime was big when I was still active in LJ/DW?).

I don't think it was Sun Wukong (you mean from RWBY right?), but we'll get some CR here, so it's all good!
