Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Initial Ideas: We know you're just getting started off here so you may not have any solid goals for where you want to go yet, but let us know if there's anything you're looking for to start off with! Types of CR, parts of the setting you want to play with, magic you want to have your character have a disaster with, whatever floats your boat.

Tell us about yourself: I like shounen manga, children's card game anime, spending too much time on joseimuke mobage and getting over-invested in seiyuu lol I also just got back into dwrp after taking a really long break so please be gentle with me

Character Name (Canon): Shinra Kusakabe (Fire Force)

Tell us about them: He comes from a world where people spontaneously combust and turn into mindless flame zombies (called Infernals) that destroy things so there's a Special Fire Force that comes in to "put them to rest." Shinra joined the Fire Force partly because he's a massive hero-wannabe and also because as a child his mother and little brother were killed in a fire caused by an Infernal. Anyway, turns out there's an underground cult that's been orchestrating everything in order to trigger a second end of the world event (first one happened about 250 years before the start of the series) and Shinra might actually be Fire Fighting Jesus. Yeah.

Shinra's a good kid. He tries really hard to be an ideal hero and believes in helping everyone. Despite this, growing up, he ended up becoming attached to the label "Devil" instead because of rumours that he's the one that caused the fire that killed his family and also because when he's nervous/anxious, he gets a creepy grin that he can't control. He's got a lot of trauma to work through still...

His canon point is ch 238. I also have some basic stats here if anyone is interested.

Initial Ideas: For now I want Shinra to focus on getting used to the fire part of his elemental magic so he can use it to imitate his canon powers somewhat (after that he can start to learn the other elements) so it'd be great if he can find someone to train with. Other than that I don't really have concrete plans maybe just start by finding people he can help in whatever way or making friends!

hello! I enjoyed their thread too and am ok with making it game canon! also I read your blurb on juzo... pls awkwardly dad at shinra.... he doesn't have a dad in canon so he can always use more (better) father figures in his life

i've seen the first season of the anime so i'm at least a little canon familiar with fire force. shinra is definitely the kind of person juzo would adopt, whether either of them wanted it or not LOL.

Awesome. He might not be Arthur, but they can still get up to shenanigans. Like, I cannot say that Zidane won't dare Shinra to say... using his fire magic to skeet shoot a can or two of cologne if he uses his magic to launch it.

it's fine that zidane's not arthur since being in avalon is already like being in arthur's delusions and he hates it LMAO a dare that can double as shenanigans and training would just mean they're being efficient
