OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

<b>Player Name:</b> Whatever you want us to call you. <b>Contact:</b> Plurk, Discord, whatever it is you use. Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name & Journal:</b> Character name and journal here! <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. (We know you want to!) <b>Initial Ideas:</b> We know you're just getting started off here so you may not have any solid goals for where you want to go yet, but let us know if there's anything you're looking for to start off with! Types of CR, parts of the setting you want to play with, magic you want to have your character have a disaster with, whatever floats your boat. <b>My Dream Aesthetic:</b> This section is going to change for each OOC intro, we just want to put something fun each time. :) Tell us about the kind of aesthetic you absolutely adore. Hi Dee! Welcome! I'm Caprica and also adore superhero things. And video games (mostly JRPGs but occasionally I dabble in the likes of Mass Effect/The Last Of Us or such for the story/cast). I adored Princess Tutu so I'm excited to be able to see Ahiru here and get cr! Colette here is from the Tales of Symphonia video game previous on Gamecube and now available on PS3 and Steam as well. She's also the Most Clumsy and not a human either (well, human here because her Cruxis Crystal is nerfed so not an Angel any longer) so they could bond over that?

Hi Caprica nice to meet you! It's been awesome seeing so many people recognize her, I used to run in circles where no one had ever heard of it lol. I've heard of the Tales of Symphonia game but haven't played it. They can definitely bond over clumsiness and not being human but currently human :D

Tutu was an impulse buy with me finding the DVD boxset years back haha. I recognized the style from the same people working on Sailor Moon back when and was curious. As for Symphonia, there's a manga and a animation (the animation did cut/change some things though. I'd say of the two that the manga is more faithful.) as well. And obviously probably lp videos on youtube of the games themselves (I play her from the first but there is also a sequel.). But yes I get the feeling this will be adorable cr for these two! Colette just legit goes around leaving Colette shaped imprints/holes in walls from her tripping and such and tripping into enemies is how she steals from them (yes of the party she is the thief which I still find Hilarious). And it's sure an adjustment to be able to eat/sleep/talk/feel again, yes. The advantages of being human as she gradually lost those senses/abilities over time with her Journey to become an Angel.

I have such a weakness for non-human characters having to adapt to being human! Oh cool I've heard of the game and manga but I didn't know there was an anime too. I don't have a PS3 or Steam so I might check out a Let's Play.

This concept of eating and sleeping and talking and Feeling again gosh why this? So hard?

But really. Yeah, Youtube probably has lps around. The anime is fun but kinda condenses and changes things somewhat so prob better to appreciate if you already know the basics proper first? The manga even has little extras like a chapter on one of Colette's birthdays (spoilers they weren't the most traditional yay you survived another year! celebrations. More a Church thing as yay one year closer to your Journey!). iirc I have a link for the manga if you were ever curious, in her journal that I hope still works. It was only ever released officially in Japanese but of course fans have translated it.
