OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Tell us about yourself: Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know.

Tell us about them: Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. Initial Ideas: We know you're just getting started off here so you may not have any solid goals for where you want to go yet, but let us know if there's anything you're looking for to start off with! Types of CR, parts of the setting you want to play with, magic you want to have your character have a disaster with, whatever floats your boat.

Tell us about yourself: Hi! I'm Dee, I love video games (mostly FFXIV right now but Bioware otherwise), fantasy/sci-fi books, watch too much TV, and own four beautiful and annoying cats. I am a huge MCU fan and general superhero/pop culture nerd. See: Shadow and Bone coming up (screams). I live in Maine and work at a college so my hours can be very weird sometimes. I am the screencapper

capseroo and I run the updated wikicon over on IJ, so I usually know where icons are or caps are.

Character Name & Journal: Ahiru,

Tell us about them: Ahiru is literally a duck who fell in love with a prince and given the ability to turn human (and a magical dancing girl) from a magical pendant. The town was stuck in the throes of a dead writer who never got to finish his work and she became one of his many puppets as Princess Tutu. She is no longer a magical girl but she still needs the pendant to stay human currently. She gave it up in her anime and has been living as a duck again, and she's psyched to be human again here. She is sweet, friendly, kind, loving, and naive. She's young and easily trusting, and she has a strong positive spirit. That being said she's extremely down on herself and has low self-esteem, so it makes her timid and socially anxious at times. She has a very quick temper but usually on the behalf of someone else, but sometimes people can prick it for her own sake.
Initial Ideas: Mostly I want to just get her settled in and get her new CR! I had amazing threads on TDM and would love to continue them in game and keep those new friendships. She's going to be very lonely and scared without her life partner Fakir! Eventually I'll want to work on her magic powers, she'll be psyched to have them, and go to school for real since she's never actually been. I'm definitely keeping an eye on quests for a little later.
My Dream Aesthetic: Fall weather with apple picking and Halloween around the corner and cats (familiars?) galore.
Anything else: I'm not finished but I have permissions and longer profile here and here's her visualities post! Also if you want to see her transformation and funny scene with Fakir, watch this!

Aaaah Ahiru! It's always nice to see her or anyone from Princess Tutu around. Robyn here is similar, but her circumstances are kind of the inverse; she's a girl who recently can turn into a wolf.

I'm happy people know the anime! I know Robyn, I saw Wolfwalkers when it came out and loved it!

I was joking with Rynn (also in the game) that interacting with Della and Darkwing Duck she was already like 'these are my duck parents now.'

It's all on Amazon Prime if you have it! Or Funimation if you have that, I believe it's there too. It's a great show and only 26 episodes so it goes pretty fast too!

I know 3 of those 5 (Anna, Usagi, and Katara) and I love all of them, so I'm sure I'd like the other two. We'll definitely have to throw some of them at each other. Ahiru met Makoto already and she mentioned Usagi because they both have first names that mean animals.

Hi Dee! Welcome! I'm Caprica and also adore superhero things. And video games (mostly JRPGs but occasionally I dabble in the likes of Mass Effect/The Last Of Us or such for the story/cast). I adored Princess Tutu so I'm excited to be able to see Ahiru here and get cr! Colette here is from the Tales of Symphonia video game previous on Gamecube and now available on PS3 and Steam as well. She's also the Most Clumsy and not a human either (well, human here because her Cruxis Crystal is nerfed so not an Angel any longer) so they could bond over that?

Hi, Dee! Like I've said, it's so awesome to meet you, I'm loving Mako and Ahiru's chemistry already! (And just laughing that Mako's kind of adopted Della and Fenton already, not even a month in game and she's starting a duck collection.)
