Hello everyone! As per the poll results, from here on out we will be posting an OOC intro at the start of our processing apps, with multiple reminders on plurk to check it out. In addition, as per suggestions commented to the pool, we will be linking this in Acceptance Messages and on the most recent Test Drive Meme.

OOC Intros


Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name & Journal:</b> Character name and journal here! <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. Welcome! Robyn here is younger, but she recently became a werewolf herself and actually does have animal magic here which she's on her way to embracing, so that might make for something interesting?

Cliff might not warm up to her right away because he's never met another Animal Person (even a younger one) and had it go well, and Robyn being a Traditional werewolf instead might not do her many favors, he's got trust issues. Her being a kid does help, though -- she's around his little brother's age.

Wolf buddies indeed!

Technically Robyn is a Wolfwalker, which is inspired by the Irish folklore of the Werewolves of Ossory, namely how their spirits leave their bodies and manifest as wolves whenever they fall asleep. Her abilities don't work that way here, but she's still willing to relearn how to become a wolf from scratch since to her it's something that frees her from the 17th century Puritan rule she lives under back home.

So...definitely some clashing werewolf ideals, here.
