Tell us about yourself: As my muselist suggests I like video games! Mostly console titles, although despite swearing off gacha I got roped into Fire Emblem Heroes so I can collect various jpegs of Claude's punchable face. Feel free to toss me your friend code if you play too! rl-wise I work for an educational charity and dabble in climate activism 😤 I also like gardening and animals and tend to post a lot of pictures of flowers, birds, and my family's dogs.

Tell us about them: Susie's the lovechild of Bowser and Barney the dinosaur. The end.
... OKAY the longwinded version: Susie is the monster deuteragonist of Deltarune, the
sequelPARALLEL STORY ok toby to Undertale, that one itty bitty indie game you might've heard of. She's a high schooler with a reputation for being a rude, abrasive and violent bully, and when she and the protagonist are pulled into the Dark World as prophecised heroes of light, she... immediately attacks all the Dark World denizens and joins the bad guys. Stuff happens and she eventually makes friends who accept her for who she is, which sways her into rejoining the party. Despite her tough front, she has a caring and courageous streak, and will develop a soft spot for anyone who's kind to her.Initial Ideas: She'll be looking out for Noelle after initially showing up, but she'll be eager to dive into things once she realises Avalon isn't immediately dangerous to them. She'll work to relearn healing magic here (... and still suck at it), and I can totally see her taking on the zombie quest only to be disappointed she has to protect the fear gorta smh. I'm also totally open to people mistaking her identity in relation to the dragon quest as she's a purple dragon... dinosaur... looking thing LOL
What is your favorite season and why? It's hard to choose because I like all of them for different reasons, but winter! It's nice to get cosy and spend time with friends and family away from the grind.
Anything else: Susie's taken from the end of Chapter 2, and while spoilers are unlikely to come up, let me know if you want to avoid them and I'll bear that in mind! Likewise if Susie rubs you the wrong way for any reason, feel free to opt out of playing with her.

Tell us about yourself: Let's see- I like video games, TTRPGS, writing ghost stories and doing art-type things. I'm currently GMing a Call of Cthulhu campaign for some old Uni friends set on a haunted Cruise Ship. My job involves Data and there are no problems I won't try to solve with a spreadsheet. I'm in GMT, and tend to tag evenings/weekends, but I am on a November-is-evil induced hiatus at the moment.
Character Name (Canon): Noelle Holiday (Deltarune)
Tell us about them: Noelle's the (adorable) Reindeer classmate and childhood friend of Deltarune protagonist Kris- she's a studious, intelligent and very kind person, with the world's most obvious disaster-gay crush on fellow classmate Susie. She's also a bit of a nerd who enjoys playing video games. However, Noelle is lacking in confidence, to the point she struggles to say 'no' when people ask things of her, or to object when someone talks over her. As of her canonpoint- the end of Chapter 2's Weird Route- she's been pushing herself to try and get stronger. I'll do my best to avoid any explicit spoilers as a default, but do feel free to let me know if either spoilers are totally cool or spoilers are very much not cool.
Initial Ideas: She's coming in with Elemental primary, focusing on ice magic - and will be punduluming between trying to master it as soon as possible and being intimidated by it. At least at first she'd going to be sticking close to Susie and assume Avalon is some weird dream. Feel free to tell her otherwise! I'll probably send her off on some quests once I'm back from hiatus and give her a little time to settle in.
What is your favorite season and why? I like spring- it's not too warm, not too cool and all the flowers coming out are very pretty.

Tell us about yourself: I've RPed well over most of my life (sadly) but this is my first time on Dreamwidth. I've mostly played on forums and tumblr before so I'm pretty nervous! Other hobbies include vtubing and usually streaming on the no pixel gtav server. I feel like I watch more anime than I do and hobby in sleeping in.
Character Name (Canon): Riza Hawkeye (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Tell us about them:
(Just a gentle trigger warning of heavily implied mental abuse from a parent and genocide.)
The best canon descriptor of Riza is: a cold exterior but a kind heart. Once a young woman who only wanted to see a happy future for everyone, her early life was full of tragedy. With both parents dying before she became an adult and her father burdening her with his life's alchemical work... Riza always felt what she described as shackled to him. Wanting to help better the word, she gave the research to his student who would end up using the alchemy in one of her country's most horrific moments in history.
Between this and her own actions, Riza has moved forward in her own life resolutely to right those wrongs. A forward-thinking woman who won't hesitate to pull the trigger if it means protecting that future. She's seen as a cold and meticulous worker with light novels saying even without sleep she has not a hair out of place.
The reality is she's a very tired adjutant still recovering from her team spending several hundred (thousands?) sens buying flowers for a (non-existent) angry ghost and trying to get it past her. She's basically a babysitter of a group of adult men (she wouldn't have it any other way, but she'll never say it aloud). Genuinely a kind woman who was dealt a very rough life, her occasional dry humor, dry humor, and puns may astound you.
Initial Ideas: There's a line in one of the video games about how Riza doesn't like city life but prefers gardens because it reminds her of the countryside where she grows up. This is 100% why I made her have green magic, because a young Riza could have easily wanted to be a florist for a bit (without other canon mentions). And I just love tormenting her with plants and feeling for them. I'm obnoxious about it, please play along with it one day.
Just because she's a woman from the nebulous 1915s that progressed in alchemy and automail and literally nothing else... How do you use a cellphone. Please assist. This is almost as weird as the magic.
Character wise— I love all kinds! While I loosely love an older sister vibe, what I really crave for Riza is friends. She's always been bound to alchemy so I intentionally separated her from it. One of my goals for Riza as an RPer is "what kind of life will she form without the things that bound her present" (not in any bad way)! So I'm always interested in positive relationships where she can grow from it but also... Please if you want an action thread I am down to try!
What is your favorite season and why? Spring — I love the blossoming of life.

My name is Koree, I've been doing journal RP for a very long time now, so if I can help let me know.
I'm in the game with three characters now, one of whom is in the right age range to befriend Riza, if you'd like? Her name is Ziva ("I'ziva" on the taken list, part of the FFXIV crew). She tends to be really friendly and would probably try to bring Riza along for drinks on occasion, and she's seen some shit in her day so I'd be happy to see where a bond with the two of them could potentially go (or not, if that's how it develops)!
I also have Rapunzel and Sakura. Rapunzel was just accepted this round and is coming in before she's experienced, like, almost ANY of the outside world.
Sakura is a medic-focused ninja from the Naruto universe, and was an active and major player in their last world war, so she's also Seen Some Shit. She's around 17-18, so younger, but shockingly mature for her age given everything.

Ichiro is happy to help with anything she might need and both he and Kazunari are tech savvy so they can help there! Though Kazu speaks with slang and memes so he may be a challenge to understand haha.

Tell us about yourself: I play a lot of video games including a few gacha games and FFXIV. I'm also currently playing Great Ace Attorney right now and almost finished with the game. Otherwise, I'm into manga, anime, and the occasional webcomic. I also work as a housekeeping supervisor at a hotel, so sometimes I'm busy and half dead. I also like cooking and baking. That said I tend to be pretty quiet on plurk.
Character Name (Canon): Jade Leech (Twisted Wonderland)
Tell us about them: You know those duos of henchmen that you see in Disney animation? That's what Jade is based on. He's the seemingly nice half of the pair he forms with his brother, Floyd, acting very polite and humble. A big contrast to his very moody brother. Anyone who gets to know him though will quickly realize that he's up to no good most of the time and is either plotting something or trying to manipulate them. Dude just wants to be entertained really, which is probably why he's happy to let Azul, his childhood friend, boss him around like a servant. When he's not plotting though, he likes being really nerdy and doing things like hiking, mountain climbing, and collecting wild plants and mushrooms. Seriously, the Mushrooms are a meme at this point.
Short tl;dr eel acts like a butler, but with some added snark and an occasional urge to sneak weird mushrooms into your food. He also really is based off Ursula's eels. Honest.
Initial Ideas: He's probably going to run around trying to help out with Azul's restaurant. In particular, getting him more employees. Maybe he'll eventually decide on a title to aim for, depending on what lets him most gather info/is the least boring/but doesn't put too much spotlight on him.
But also friends and enemies. He's good for both! Despite his personality, he's easily able to get along with a variety of people. But he's obviously good for negative CR because of all the above bad traits I mentioned.
What is your favorite season and why? I guess right now, it might be late spring? Early summer? Any weather that is nice and mild is good with me though.

Tell us about yourself: I play a lot of video games, read a lot of manhwa and webnovels, and play DnD (though I mostly DM).
Character Name (Canon): Zen Wistaria from Snow White With the Red Hair (or Akagami no Shirayukihime)
Tell us about them: Zen is a prince, but he's not like all those other princes, he's a cool prince. While he takes his duties very seriously, Zen dislikes a lot of the stuffiness that comes with his title. It's a lot of formality that doesn't quite mesh with his light-hearted nature and adventurous streak. There are times where he will bend the rules, usually when it involves the people he cares about (like letting a commoner have free run of the palace), but not to the point where it would cause problems for his kingdom.
He's very friendly, dislikes being alone during the day, and tends to be fairly chill and easy-going. He also likes to tease the people around him, so there's that.
Initial Ideas: Zen is coming in with Alchemy and Elemental magic. He's going to be keeping his status on the DL unless he needs to bring it up, and will be looking for places where he can put himself to good use--probably doing quests or helping people interested in learning sword fighting.
As for CR, I'm interested in anything and everything! Zen's the type who could very easily get into some ridiculous shenanigans, so it's pretty easy to toss him into things. Besides, he could use everything from friends to people who get on his nerves and anything in between.
What is your favorite season and why? Summer! I like being as warm as possible.

Other Characters? Satoko is my only character right now!! Briefly, I was in this game as Touya Aoyagi from Project Sekai, but I had to drop because I couldn't handle RP at the time. Now I have the brain drugs again so I anticipate it will be better.
Tell us about yourself: I currently live in Japan and work all day during the week, which makes timing awkward. There may be a few days in between tags depending on my energy levels, but I am excited so I will try hard!! I obviously like When They Cry, but I also play from Disco Elysium and the Kirby series right now. I am into other things too, like Undertale/Deltarune, Danganronpa, Fate/series, Project Sekai, Ace Attorney, etc. I can draw a little bit as a hobby, and I like puzzles and languages. Character Name (Canon): Satoko Hojo, from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Sotsu)
Tell us about them: Satoko is a troubled child from a small town in the 1980s, whose family experienced so many horrible tragedies and Unpopular Opinions on local politics that nearly the entire town considers her literally cursed. She copes with that by putting on superior airs, developing underhanded trap skills to trick people into paying attention to her, and clinging to the few friends who tolerate this. She enjoys games and challenges, but she will play hard. In Avalon, she is taken from after the recent anime arcs, so a time skip has happened since the original series. High school sucks. Disaster wlw with adhd represent. Frequent spoiler warnings will be applied and I am going to try so hard to walk this tightrope of engaging with CR while being conscientious of this.
Initial Ideas: Satoko will be starting off with Dark magic and I would love for her to have CR with other characters who can help her learn the ropes. As a TRAP EXPERT she will be keen to maximize her potential here, and any character willing to help her experiment would be great. She has a flexible morality from being such a troublemaker, and she could potentially get along with villainous characters, or people who just want to play some pranks. Anyone who likes exciting games and fun activities can rope her in pretty easily! idk I just want to play with people and don't have a strong direction yet
What is your favorite season and why? I like winter! Not only am I born in winter, but my hometown is a place with heavy snowfall, and I hate summer heat and want to be as far away from it as possible. I respect people's differing opinions and try not to be annoyingly contrary. But I cannot lie about my true feelings.
Anything else: Her journal is still a WIP, but I will have an opt-out for spoilers and content warning type things once it is more set up.

Tell us about yourself: Music, video games, graphic design/visual communication, probably too many things to list! I'm huge into FFXIV, so when the new expansion hits next month I will probably be a little scarce until I finish my MSQ playthrough's in addition to holidays, but I'll still be around tagging so that I don't burnout or fall behind, especially once our winter break kicks in.
Character Name (Canon): Rapunzel; Tangled (the film version right now, though may later canon update)
Tell us about them: Rapunzel is Curiosity, Pure Energy, and Inquisitiveness personified. At this point she's spent her whole life living inside of a tower with a REALLY toxic and manipulative "mother". She's sheltered, naive, curious about EVERYTHING and EVERYONE, and above all else she has the most indomitable spirit of nearly anyone that you'll ever meet. She sees the best in everyone she meets and she's not afraid to make mistakes, nor is she the type to sit about regretting them.
Initial Ideas: She's coming into the game on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, just a few hours after she's managed to strongarm a stranger into helping her try to go live out her lifelong dream. THIS is where her adventure begins! She's been on the road for less than 2 hours, befriended a tavern full of murderous ruffians, and knows like-- next to NOTHING about her guide, but it's cool!
For her first month or two in the game I want Rapunzel to meet people and explore, to begin to learn about her new magic (she's already had her freakout about her hair, which by the way, is BROWN now, instead of blonde.), and just get the hang of the world. She's been traveling with Zen, and it's safe to assume she's met some other people, but she's not content to stop there and neither am I! Camelot is a big place, and it'll be her first experience in any sort of village, town, city, what have you. Rapunzel is in for a lot of firsts, honestly.
TL;DR: I'm down for everything and anything. I've played Rapunzel a long time now and she gets on well with all types of people, so give her your grumps, your fellow optimists, free spirited wild childs, pranksters, villains, heroes, antiheroes, ambiguous sorts, all of it. I'm playing it by ear, and right now I don't have too solid of an idea on a long term goal for her because her time in Avalon is going to shape a lot of how she grows. I'm happy to talk shop.
What is your favorite season and why? I'm personally a major fan of autumn, when the turn of weather isn't murdering my sinuses anyway. I love the changing of the leaves, the temperature is a nice, cozy light-sweater weather vibe, and towards the end of it there's something inherently gratifying about listening to the wind and being able to see the storm clouds rolling in in our area, when the trees are mostly bare. It kind of feels like the world's getting a reset/refresh.

Tell us about yourself: Nothing has changed from my last intro LMAO I'm playing some mobage: A3!, Enstars (tho I just switched from music to basic) and Hypmic of course. If you add me on plurk, heads up that you may be subjected to pictures of my new baby snake because I love her and am obsessed with her. My sleep & tag schedule are still WHACK.
Character Name (Canon): Ichiro Yamada (Hypnosis Mic)
Tell us about them: I really don't know how else to describe Ichiro beyond "he's such a dude." Like I love him but it's really so funny to me that he's the MC of this franchise when he and his brothers are arguably the Most Normal of them all. BUT I DIGRESS. In the past he was actually a delinquent, but even then the shady shit he was doing was for his brothers' sake and he cared about people. He's since calmed down, though he is still stupidly stubborn and has a bit of a short fuse. And he still cares about people.
He's endlessly compassionate and deeply loyal to those he considers friends or family. It's impossible for him to ignore someone in need. In fact, he started a whole odd jobs business because he just kept helping everyone. He's also a huge nerd who likes anime and light novels.
tl;dr he's a little rough around the edges but he has a good heart. (he can be your angle or your devil....)
Initial Ideas: UHHH it's good boy season. He would be doing it anyway, but he'll be looking for things to help around with to distract himself from worrying about his brothers for now.
CR wise, I'd love anything and everything ha ha. I haven't gotten a chance to play with his nerdy side so please... let him gush about the animes. He is also going to be aggressively ignoring Rei's entire existence. So that's fun.
What is your favorite season and why? Fall! Where I live, we don't really get winter so fall is the coolest seasons :') Also fall colors are beautiful!

Tell us about yourself: I'm a big video game nerd, and spend quite a bit of time playing games, both on PC and console. I've been recently into randomizers, especially Link to the Past and Metroid Prime 2 and I've been streaming those quite a bit. I'm also still catching up on the giant backlog of anime and manga that I haven't seen or read yet, as well as straight-up books.
Character Name (Canon): Max Goof (Disney Animated/An Extremely Goofy Movie)
Tell us about them: Max Goof is the son of Goofy, and as such has a lot of the funny quirks that his dad does. The awkward laugh, et cetera. He wants to stand out and be seen as the 'cool guy' and not be seen as his father's son because he's kind of embarrassed by him (but he's since bonded quite well with Goofy, it's just he still wants to be independent and not compared to him!) He's pretty good with sports, namely pro skateboarding, and he's loyal and will try his hardest not to let his friends down. Anyone who bonds with him will find that he will never give up on them in the end.
Initial Ideas: Oh man, the initial start for Max is going to be an absolute disaster (which is basically par for the course for him!) and it's going to be a time learning his magic. (He got Animal and Elemental.) But I'd really like him to make some friends so he can better get his bearings in this world, and he'll likely wind up taking on quests and doing what he can to both seem 'cool' and also to do the right thing. His heart's in the right place, at least.
What is your favorite season and why? Spring, because it's not too hot and not too cold, and (usually) it stops snowing! I love snow, but I don't like the sheer cold that comes with it.
Anything else: I swear if anyone here hasn't seen the Goofy movies I am going to sit you down and let you watch them with me because they're great.

Character Name (Canon): Cale Henituse
Tell us about them: Cale transmigrated into a novel, where he became a minor villain in said novel. He has since done everything he can to set himself up for a lazy slacker life...by getting tangled up in everyone's business whoops.
He's the kind of person that looks uninvested in most of the things around him, and if asked he would probably agree with that sentiment. However, he's actually a good dude deep down and doesn't want to see people get hurt or die in front of him. A lot of how he acts now is the result of good 'ol trauma, so while he might say he's being selfish and only looking out for himself...he does a lot of things that directly contradict that.
Initial Ideas: Cale has Cognitive and Blood magic, the latter of which will confuse him. (Why would he use something that takes his own blood? No thank you.) After arriving, he'll try to find a way to lay around and do as little as possible, which...I'm looking for ways to make that impossible. He's going to be dragged into as many situations as he can be.
As for CR, I want anything and everything. People he can genuinely connect with interest me a great deal, as do found family shenanigans if anyone wants a big brother/parental figure.
