OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Tell us about yourself: I reside in GMT+1 and work during the week so tags will probably mainly be on weekends. Kinda took a break from rp for a year after burning out, so I'm gonna be chill and not overload myself this time!! I mainly do D&D and gardening, ask me for pictures of my plants at any time. Cannot WAIT for it to stop being winter here so I can have a balcony again.

Character Name & Journal: Lan Wangji (or Lan Zhan, but you don't get to call him that), wukuiyuxin
Tell us about them: He is one of the most accomplished and respected cultivators of his time, which means he is Gifted and Talented at swordfighting, musical cultivation (basically a method of doing magic to Better Oneself Spiritually And Physically, Defeat Evil, And Attain Immortality), chivalry and righteousness. So having to start from scratch is gonna be a rough time! Unfortunately due to people being people he has had to learn some very painful lessons about right and wrong and the greyness of morality, but it's also made him strive to uphold his strong sense of justice even more. He is incredibly composed, practical and never uses more words than absolutely necessary, so I have to apologize in advance if it seems like he wants nothing to do with your character. He probably doesn't, but I still want threads, I promise! Also, his familiar is a white rabbit because he is very, very gay and soft.
Initial Ideas: I've been told Lan Wangji needs friends, though he would disagree. He's known in canon for "being where the chaos is" and saving people, so he will stick to that habit despite the lack of most of his fighting abilities. So probably mishaps on quests will be a good start. He's a great target for gremlin extroverts as well as fellow introverts and he has a whole gaggle of unruly teens at home. Also his love, husband, soulmate "lifelong confidant" Wei Wuxian has been dead for 16 slutty slutty years and is back now, so that's just like, a lot.
My Dream Aesthetic: oh I'm a stars gay for sure, irl the houseplant aesthetic is taking over my life and apartment.

I'm so glad you asked! I've had a strelitzia plant for about three years now and it's just blooming for the first time. I'm very proud of this one.
