OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name & Journal:</b> Character name and journal here! <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. Tell us about yourself: So, hello. I'm an EST 6-430 pharmacy technician, mom to one still at home, with two kittens who all conspire to keep me busy. I write, knit, cross stitch, and stream on Twitch far too often. I generally tag during the day/evening, usually stopping about 8pm EST for the night, because I have to get up at god awful o'clock in the morning. (I say, writing this at about 930) My plurk is usually full of Tales From the Mail Order Pharmacy, or, me posting my Twitch stream. Occasionally, there are cat pictures.

Character Name & Journal: Brigid Finn bostonhowler
Tell us about them: Brigid is a werewolf. Born a werewolf, had werewolf senses/strength since she was thirteen. She recently left her birth Pack for the wilds of Upper Michigan, and a new Pack there. She suspects her former Alpha is coming after her, but she can't be sure and her new Alpha while agreeing with her concerns, is cautiously optimistic that the man isn't that stupid. She's Very Catholic, and does not swear, not even in her own mind. An orphan, she believes in Pack and being Charitable, so let her help you! Also, she's a fantastic cook. And she loves to do it, so, ya know... let her cook for you! Oh, also, her Doctorate is from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland - despite being from Boston - and it's in fairy tales. (Celtic folklore, but she loves seeing people's faces when she says she went to school for fairy tales.)

Initial Ideas: WHAT HAPPENED TO HER SENSES AND WHY DO YOU ALL WALK SO QUIETLY?

No, really, she's never going to get the hang of not having her enhanced senses. She wants them back. Also, her strength and healing factor. Her first bruise is going to make her cry.

So, she's going to be using her Animal Magic, possibly with disastrous results, and trying to regain her senses, by telepathically connecting with her Cu-Sith. And yes, she knows what it is, she knows what they mean, and she's terrified, but she cannot live without her senses!

ANYWAY. Other than that, give her all the found family, she loves it. And she will feed them.

And hooray for earth-based werewolves! Except that the werewolves Morgan is kin to are World of Darkness Garou, so I anticipate a lot of extreme confusion on everyone's part...

Menace is very good at distracting people by the expedient method of climbing into their laps and then up on their shoulders so she can be held like a baby. It's hilarious and she loves people. Scotty will growl, hiss and go hide under my son's bed.

And yes! Brigid is going to be very confused by werewolves that are out and proud. She's just "Nope, was never a werewolf, ever. Nope."

So, no one will know she is a werewolf for a while. Because in her world, werewolves hide. She's going to be freaking out over the barrowhound following her around for a while, so someone should help her with that.

Oh, well, Garou hide on Earth too. But Morgan is used to not living on Earth and especially around people who know what's up, so he doesn't bother keeping it a secret around here at all. Get ready for shock!
