OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name & Journal:</b> Character name and journal here! <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. Tell us about yourself: I tend to tag more on weekends...but I'm especially slow on Mondays and Tuesdays usually. I like food. Um. I have a cat? Most of my plurk seems to be food or cats these days.

Character Name & Journal: Akashi Kaoru (queenofminiskirts)
Tell us about them: Coming from the fourth wall breaking series Zettai Karen Children, I'm bringing the main character who is a cheerful, sweet and also kind of stupid highschool girl turned internationally wanted criminal. She's good for befriending grumpy people, befriending tsunderes and teasing people. She's also endured a lot of child abuse and discrimination for being an esper so she's good for those kinds of discussions too.

She's a very good girl but also kind of rude and will probably bully you unless you are very shy and timid in which case she'll kick the ass of your bullies. But good-naturedly. It's a gentle, friendly sort of bullying. She's also there to bully via all the excessive compliments about all your virtues even if no one else sees it. She has even befriended people who told her 'next time I'll fucking kill you'. Once she's decided you're friends you're doomed. There is no escape.

Initial Ideas: She's going to complain about school and learning magic but otherwise she'll get used to this whole 'being in another world' thing pretty quickly. She'll be without her powers, going from the world's most powerful psychokinetic to a beginner magic user. It's going to be so fun to watch her struggle.

Character Name & Journal: Yun Yifeng (badlypoisoned)
Tell us about them: A gremlin who has been on the verge of dying from poison for years now. He's an information broker in his canon so he'll do his best to offer very little in every conversation. Also, if you remind him of his disciples he won't be able to stop himself from teasing you. A little morally dubious at times but he's a good person. Also he fails at drawing, cooking and music. His drawing is ugly, his cooking can make people sick and the nicest thing anyone has ever been able to say about his music is that it would be very good for getting wolves to go away. He also has one outfit in colours that look like they were picked out by a clown.

Initial Ideas: He's going to hole up in the library...maybe try to find someone to help him Not Die So Quickly...he's not quite ready to talk about 'Not Dying' because his heart isn't prepared for being disappointed. Please come tell him his cooking is shit because his boyfriend in canon keeps eating his food and not letting anyone refuse the food he offers or talk shit about it (boyfriend is the general of the country's army and well known for being scary the soldiers can't say no to him).
Anything else: If you doubt what a shit he is here is his introduction. Note, the outdoor waiting room in a mountain in the Northern regions of Great Liang designed to be as cold as possible. He hasn't even gotten out of the sedan and you already know he's a gremlin.


My Dream Aesthetic: I like lace. Lots and lots of lace. And pearls. Ball gowns. glass and opalite (which is also glass). Sea glass. Paisley. Venetian masks. Also Chinese hanfu.

Hi! I think these two (Akashi and Blake, I mean) could make fast friends if they go on a quest together. C: They have similar backgrounds, but rather than being cheery and energetic, Blake is mellow and sarcastic (though she warms up significantly around good friends). Akashi seems like the type that'd be easy for her to open up around in the right circumstances.

I love the sound of all this! She is very good for getting people to open up about things! I'm only vaguely canon familiar but I am always down for traumatized teens opening up to each other about their trauma and being friends! Also, she'll probably ask if she can touch the ears at some point...
