OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name & Journal:</b> Character name and journal here! <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. Tell us about yourself: I'm in North American Central time! I tend to tag in evenings, though depending on whether work allows, I'll tag during the daytime. Occasionally my job is very stressful; I may take a night off due to that here and there. I can do action brackets or prose!

I'm coming back to DW RP after a pandemic stress-induced break. Things are better!

I play a lot of video games, like JRPGs. I like to watch speedrunning (but have never done it). I also like tabletop, adore Critical Role, and my favorite book series is the Stormlight Archive. I've got a dog named Daisy, who is a dachshund-rottweiler mix. Me and my partner are looking at getting a cat too.

Character Name & Journal: Adelle Ein, everydayeveryway
Tell us about them: Because this canon is new, this is a spoiler-free (or at least lite!) version! Adelle is a mercenary who is friendly and chatty, but purposefully mysterious; she doesn't let on a lot about where she comes from. She tends to get her nose in others' business, could aptly be called a meddler, and loves to try new things. She hides a sentimental side. She also hides some angst and fear about her past and where she is from. This can come out with friendship! She is also a little mischievous and can get up to some trouble.
Initial Ideas: I'd love to have Adelle make friends! She is a little bit meddlesome and can get into others' trouble. She is also a little closed off, but part of the fun there is getting her to open up more.

I also want to get her involved in missions; Adelle is the type who wants to get involved and help out. She may feel a little weird about becoming a knight or a lady, but I'm potentially interested in working towards that. She is also trying to get back home because she was kind of in the middle of saving the world... but saving all the worlds seems important.

But it's also hard to aforementioned issues on hold. So friendships and people she can confide in would be most welcome!
My Dream Aesthetic: Final Fantasy IX's whole look. Seriously, look at the original renders. So pretty. I love the fanciful, over-the-top take on medieval and Renaissance.
Anything else: Bravely Default, Octopath Traveler, and Triangle Strategy are some weird names, right?
