OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Eustace is so lovely, and the latest GBF event made me love him even more! I hope these two can be friends, he'd remind her so much of her younger brother too!

I KNOOOW I've been going through Home Sweet Moon to basically transcribe everything take notes and uuugggh just finished going through the last part and my heart. It hurts. BUT THAT EVENT WAS SO GOOD FOR EVERYONE my Society fan self is very much satisfied /lies here

I'll be down for whatever! What kind of character is she? O:

Gosh it really was, ugh. I'm just glad for Cassius too, it had been a whole YEAR of not knowing what was happening. But Vitty and Eustace ;_____; my heart!!

And she is a very big sister type— I think the best comparison I can give is put Jessica and Korwa together with a side of Sig and you have Megumi if we want to use Granblue types LMAO. She's a leader/matriarch of her own tribe, a mother of four babies and an adventurer! She's very protective of her family and younger brother and enjoys chronicling her adventures and writing fiction based on her friends.

Basically she's someone who suffered the loss of her parents when she was younger and had to grow up really fast, made some bad decisions in the middle, learnt from them and became a better version of herself and is still trying. She's very optimistic and wants to look out for others, and very confident and flirtatious since her tribe doesn't believe in inhibiting your wants so long as they're respectful of boundaries and wants.

And!! she's CRAU so she's got a little more knowledge of how some modern things work. She knew some Granblue folks in her other game as well but I'm keeping her memories fuzzy if they're not played by the same people- so she won't know anything beyond a familiarity to Eustace if she sees him!

So if Eustace wants someone who will occasionally get into an adventure with him or just look out for him, she's there!

VIIITTTTYYYYY truth be told when I was first figuring out Eustace for Avalon, I had already chosen a white snow wolf for his familiar and this was before part 4 had dropped. So when it did I was like "oh my god I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS" LMFAO I was very tempted to have it similar to Vitty but decided against it. When Eustace first saw his familiar he was definitely shaken a bit, but I've made its personality more on the whimsical, trolling, more like a cat type lmao.

MOTHER OF FOUR MAD RESPECTS TO HER power mama go go go! But ooh I see! I'm kind of laughing if she treats him a like a younger brother since if I read her info right on your journal, he's older LMAO.

I'll also be amused because at first he'll thinks he's another Erune but then is like "wait, a tail—royal like the foxes?" and then be confused again especially if she seems a little familiar with him as you mentioned ffff.

BUT YES I am down for any of this /o/ Eustace having an older sister type coming at him would be very new to him LMAO Ilsa is probably the closest candidate but they act more like peers/equal footing ha (they are definitely the "mom" and "dad" of the society group)

AHSJDKDL that's perfect, Eustace deserves all the puppies regardless so his familiar already sounds like a delight! Home Sweet Moon was just so chefkiss for Society fans aaagh I cannot praise it enough. It just made me love Eustace so much more too.

And god it would be funny since she's usually much younger than everyone she big sisters/mommies. She's looking after her boyfriend's crewmates and they're all older than her and she dotes on them like they were her kids too LFMDJ. Gotta respect the Radiant Matriarch etc etc!

But honestly it could go either way, she definitely wouldn't mind having an adventuring buddy as well as someone to look out for. And I'm totally all up for the erune confusion, it had gotten to the point where if any animal-eared person showed up she'd have to double check to see if they were miqo'te or erune LMFAO.

(Though she totally won't mind being called royal, all ladies are queens of course :D )

So definitely yes, let's see where this goes!! And gosh, I love Ilsa too... maybe one day we'll be able to coax more Society folk in. Shake that Eustace leggy 👀 attract them in to have adventures in Avalon!!

AND I KNOW HMS gives me so many feels SO MANY I really wonder what they'll do next since while this seems like an "end" it's definitely not. In the meantime give us summer eustace cygames stop denying us this HE HAS NO MORE EXCUSES HE CAN GO ON VACATION NOW

BUT SINCE EUSTACE ALSO HAD AN OLDER AND YOUNGER SISTER HE MIGHT FEEL MELANCHOLIC yeah this is happening. It must /slams fist. We'll just have a nice blend of both win/win.

GIVE 👏 US 👏 SUMMER 👏 EUSTACE!!! It has been long enough let the poor man live. Cassius, Bea and Zeta and even Ilsa have summer looks, give Vaseraga and Eustace a vacation too, Cygames!!!!

But man, agreed. I think it might be like the Dragon Knights where they'll focus on others for a bit with Society, especially now with Isaac and everyone. Here's to hoping... cries. I miss the Dragon Knights too, I used to play Vane myself!

ALSO AAAAHH please yes, that would be so cute, I would love to see if their CR goes in a way that lets Eustace think of his family and also lets Megumi think of her brother... she always feels like she didn't do enough for her brother since tribal rules and her own obligations made it hard but she did protect him the most in her own way. So if it gets to that, they'll have some stuff they can address! But that's for later if it happens, I hope we can have them have all the fun interactions!!

Also you will be a lovely Eustace, I believe in you!! I hope you'll have something up for the intro so I can hit it up!! (I'm also in the middle of moving continents so this month is going to be slow for me but I will totally try my best to hit you up if you post!)

Oooh, I could never really get into the DK group despite Percival being the most aesthetically pleasing one to me. But that last event with Gawain? Beautiful. I loved it so much. I do think they're definitely next, especially with that Lamorak tease!

This sounds like a very good goal for us to have /sage nod. It'll be even better (easier?) once I canon update him to post HMS since he'll have soften up even more to allow those kind of thoughts/feelings/relationships to form. Aaahh this'll be so good /chinhands

I will tryyy /sobs in insecurity. But Avalon has a lot of opportunities so hopefully I'll be able to work it all out /pumps fist...! ...shakily. And YES! I do plan on having an intro once I. Figure out what I want to do for it lkajfj lmfao. I know I'll be carrying over my TDM stuff (or at least have it as an option) and then want to have at least one of the quests. Also dogs. Dogs are must. If there's any particular kind of setting that you'd be interested I could try and work that in/have a generic one that would allow it! And no worries on the tagging front, depending on the days I could be a once a night kind of deal and I backtag forever :|b

Clutches your hands I feel this pain in my bones... it's what I felt for Reinhardtzar (who is an absolute fave I was screaming for his Grand version for ages) and I'm going to be right here cheering on for a Eustace alt 😭

I absolutely adore the Dragon Knights, Percival and Vane are my favourites but I played Vane for like three years so I've been looking to check out others. Cassius is another I'm totally into, but I'm so excited for Lamorak ;_; can't wait to see him and get his unit!!

What canon point will you have Eustace from? Whatever the case, we've got lots to look forward to and I'm totally eager!! Hilariously, Megumi's ex-husband is also nicknamed "The Silver Wolf" and he used to keep little wolf pups around so she loves them as well. (Catfolk loving puppies, who'd have thunk.)

Honestly, I can work with anything but if you have any sort of action prompts where the two can fight their way out of trouble and aid each other (and probably end up needing to treat wounds), then that would be awesome! No better bonding than battlefield bonding!!

Otherwise, whatever you wish, I'll totally check out and try my best!! Once or twice a night is currently my pace too so /fistbumps we've got this!! ❤️ Also if you wish to add me on plurk, absolutely not necessary though! You can at schoenheit!! And now I must return to meat grinding in GW /sobs... I'm not even doing anything for it and I still want to cry. Good thing the crew I'm in is so casual and sleepy too...

/wheezes from changing up his profile page Eustace is like riiight at the beginning of HMS where they got the message and in the very beginnings of building up the base. So guess kind of the opening chapter. I felt it was early enough for him to be aware but not too far in where he'd be more stressed in being taken out. So I'll just be updating him to post everything, including the visit to his homeland with danchou sob. Just get all that closure done and make it easier for him to really move on and start that next chapter in character progression.

AND LMAO THE SIMILARITIES I love it. And I will definitely have an action/fight option :|b I will also add you on plurk and lmao I did my 7m last night and called it a day. Let the more youthful OP water lords in the crew carry us. Alas we just missed the cutoff for Tier A (and slack) so we'll how the fights play out /swt. We're mostly casual but we do try a little bit during GW lmao
