QuestBoard - Dec. 2020
QuestBoard is an app you can download onto your smartphones that's similar to TaskRabbit. Each month, people around town will posts jobs asking for help with various tasks like building furniture, running errands, pet sitting, and more. Characters can make a living off of this if they choose to and assume normal day-to-day tasks you would normally find on an app IRL like TaskRabbit. Handwaved tasks do not earn credit toward becoming a Knight or a Noble, but the special tasks labeled as this month's "Top Tasks" in the app will gain clout for your character.
QuestBoard Top Tasks are the ones that are posted at the start of each month. Any character may complete them, even if they seem like a unique task, because time being frozen and magic mayhem are a recipe for weird time pockets resulting in multiple occurrences in the same space. (Tl;dr there are no dibs, just have fun.) There are three kinds of tasks, each labeled with a symbol for its type:
🗡️ = COMBAT QUEST (counts toward Knighthood)
🛡️ = ASSISTANCE QUEST (counts toward Nobility)
🌌 = SPECIAL (see quest details)

December Top Tasks ❄️
🛡️ = ASSISTANCE QUEST (counts toward Nobility)
🌌 = SPECIAL (see quest details)
Combat and assistance quests are the most common and will appear every month. Specials are tasks that either fit both categories, neither category, or has some kind of exceptional reward. Special tasks are uncommon, so do not expect to see them all the time.
Each quest is worth 1 Rewards point unless your character has achieved Knighthood or Nobility status (See FAQ for more information), which both double rewards points.
Do not reply to this post to do a quest. Just thread out the quest and turn it in as instructed on the Rewards Points (Elphame Traders) page when you are ready to redeem. Threads must be started in the month that the quest was announced, though it may start at any day during the month and you may backtag as necessary.

December Top Tasks ❄️
| Task Name | Details |
| 🗡️ Fogueria | South of the Red Springs, travelers have been reporting large bonfires surrounded by figures that seem to be partying late into the night. This would be fine, except the bonfires are burning up large portions of the grasslands and upsetting a number of brownies who are coming home to their homes in the plains after a long night of eating cake and cleaning. The brownies are refusing to help clean homes until they are safe and the Fogueria is slayed. (OOC Note: As characters investigate, they will learn a creature called the Fogueria, a lion made entirely of fire, has decided to make the plains into its home. It is a violent creature that normally lives in the Lands of Rot, but chased a skeletal bat along the coastline in a sadistic game of playing with his food. The Fogueria eats any small creatures and scorches the ground around it. Elemental magic would be a big help in this fight.) |
| 🛡️ Hogtied | Wild Talda pigs have come down from the forest and started eating the crops at the farmland. These pigs are fairy pigs and breed like rabbits in the fall so their numbers are extensive come winter. There are plenty to go around. Capture 7 Talda Pigs ALIVE and hand them over to the farmers to help thin the herd and protect the crops! We can't feed the citizens of Camelot if they eat all of them! Bonus: In addition to the G and clout you'll earn, you can pick one of the pigs you captured and the farmers will butcher them for you. Talda pigs are known to have the best bacon in the multiverse, you know! |
| 🗡️ Jack Bredbeddle | A young man going by the name of Jack Bredbeddle has been causing mischief in the lower town. Apprehend young Mr. Bredbeddle and bring him to the courts. Every time he's been captured, he seems to find a way loose before arriving at the courts, so please take care! (OOC Note: Jack Bredbeddle is actually just the name that a band of goblins is using for a human transformation they've been taking. While green and smaller in their natural form, the best way to tell who is "Jack" this time is a green tint in the person's sclera, along with a penchant for playing pranks that range from attempting to seduce peoples' wives at pubs to loosing horses and casting prank spells that cause flatulence, the appearance of donkey ears on very non-donkey people, and many more immature, childish jokes. If attacked, the goblins will put up a fight. They aren't very strong, but they are many in number. Attacking the one you're following will result in at least 6 others joining in, and they are mean little guys.) |
| 🛡️ Snow Villas | Build a snow sculpture and leave a small hole where its heart should be, regardless of what type of creature or building or whathaveyou. Take a selfie with the snow sculpture and share the location. A variety of fairies are looking for vacation homes to stay in and they love artistic places to stay! If your snow sculpture was used, you'll find a bouquet of snowdrop flowers left at the foot of it the next day in appreciation, in bloom despite the chilly weather. |
| 🛡️ Foraged and Found | Take a scenic sleigh ride, magically enchanted of course! All the rider needs do is tell it to stop or go. Using their borrowed mode of transport (Thanks Rent-A-Ride for not charging) this time, questers will be asked to go to the forest and gather materials such as branches that can be weaved into wreaths, centerpieces, or another festive décor; winter spices, such as herbs and berries found in the wood to season meat and drink; and logs, as there will be many a bonfire during this time and the more logs the better. Remember to always treat your magically driven sleigh and nature with respect and care. Those who complete the quest, whether in one piece or not, will be given one serving of Solstice Sangria. When the user drinks their special brew, they will suddenly find their magic easier to use, natural, a taste of the power hard work can earn them. Too bad the effects will wear off after twenty-four hours. Enjoy in the meantime! |

And if yes, will that count as completely the quest or do they have to kill it?

The quest posters don't care as long as it's gone, so that will count as completion!

And if he can? How many times would he be able to do it before exhausting it, especially with his first time getting used to magic?

In regards to the replenishing of the forest beyond that, such as with the logs or winter berries, NCPs will recommend participation in the Winter Ritual preparations, as the Winter Ritual will accelerate magical and natural growth on the night of the Winter Solstice.
