INTEREST CHECK: causing problems with new event
Hey everyone! It so turned out that Ardyn here is going to have a chance to steal the corpse of the Fisher King and possibly revive him. He won't be able to do it by himself and so would be looking for shady volunteers to help with it; if your character would be interested in participating, please let me know! :D
This is based on this poll and will have consequences if pulled off. To succeed Ardyn would need 4 more player characters (or only 3 more if one is a bargainer who paid a steep price to help with the ritual).
Additionally, if you would like Ardyn can somehow ~trick~ your character into helping out! He is good at lying and manipulating, so if you are interested in having your character be tricked, blackmailed, forced or otherwise coerced into doing morally dubious (or outright bad) things that they normally wouldn't, well, he's your man.
This won't necessarily need to be threaded out right away, since I need to give the mods my answer on whether he succeeds or not by tomorrow. So you can just respond with whether you'd like to help Ardyn and we'll plot from there. :D

Also, he would be happy to meet a fellow Sarcasm Appreciator, plus at this point in his life being murdered by vengeful fae or getting eaten by a giant tree worm or whatever the hell might happen if the ritual goes wrong counts as a win.
Also, if this doesn't go through after all you'd be welcome to come watch Ardyn drag the corpse across the lands and bury it in Broceliande! That's also a fun way to meet people (or cats).

Also, Ritsuka's player agreed that Ritsuka might be dragged along too!

just ryouma to fix problems that izō creates. and awesome! additional reasons to hang around: gotta make sure ritsuka doesn't get into trouble lmao.no subject
but who will sell frogs now :((Meanwhile Ritsuka is probably trying to make sure Izo doesn't get in trouble, and they both fail bc they're still hanging out with Ardyn. :D
That said, success of the venture depends on whether the others trust Ardyn or not... Ardyn would pretend that the corpse is actually the corpse of his ~brother~ who got cursed+murdered by fae, and Ardyn is trying to bring him back bc he misses him even if he's an idiot. Would that fly with Izo? Alternatively, Ardyn can just call him a chicken to goad him into helping out. :D But either way, would Izo actually trust Ardyn in the matter?

It will also depend on what Ritsuka has to say about it because 1. he sucks at peer pressure even if there isn't any and 2. he trusts her as the Master so it's more comfortable for him to go along with it. Sooo.. if Ardyn convinces Ritsuka he's basically winning.

Also I feel like Ardyn and Izo would scoff at the other's brand of chuuni. Ardyn is more gothic, monologuing while having the protags captured, while Izo is MY CURSED BLADE THIRSTS FOR BLOOD.

monologuing no thanks words hard

I mean, I say that, but she's probably the designated "this seems like a bad idea but I guess I'm tagging along anyway, please don't break too many things" person.
