OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Other Characters?</b> Or are you so fresh they could sell you at the farmer's market? <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name (Canon):</b> Character name (and what they're from!) <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. (We know you want to!) <b>Initial Ideas:</b> We know you're just getting started off here so you may not have any solid goals for where you want to go yet, but let us know if there's anything you're looking for to start off with! Contact: draconic! I'm always up for new friends, but appreciate a heads-up especially if I can't easily tell who you are/where you play by your profile.

Tell us about yourself: My tagging speed can be more than a little erratic at the best of times, on account of the demands of parenthood, but I will get back to everything eventually even if it takes a while. I'll generally aim to hit things back inside of a week, but if there's something you want me to prioritize let me know!

Other than that, most of my hobbies are video game related - right now the primary one is FFXIV, though I've played a number of other Final Fantasies as well (and Kingdom Hearts). I also enjoy reading, although I have a lot less time to do so lately than I'd like, on account of the aforementioned trials of parenthood.

Character Name (Canon): Fran (Final Fantasy XII)
Tell us about them: Viera (bunny lady) sky pirate, who has a tendency to be both straightforward sometimes to the point of bluntness and not terribly talkative. Left the village she was born in some 50 years ago, and is currently Balthier's partner (in the partner-in-crime sense. Good with a bow, knows her way around an airship (...or hoverbike), and often serves as the local Lore Expert in her native canon, though that will probably be less immediately relevant here.
Initial Ideas: TBH, I don't have a lot of immediate thoughts! She's going to be helping Balthier out with his projects, and will no doubt either be introduced to his current CR or run into them eventually otherwise, but mostly what she could use is people to like. talk to, since she's not exactly the most outgoing of people.

Also if anyone wants slightly-embarrasing details about the parts of Balthier's life that he might not have mentioned, she's your viera.
What is your favorite type of gemstone or crystal? If I had to pick one, probably emeralds.

I continue to be over the moon and I am excited to launch into the event full-force together, and of course, as we discussed, he'll be moving her in immediately. He's been waiting for this...

Also I remember seeing that tdm threads could be canon if the players wanted them to be? D'you want Fran and Balthier's to be?

I am absolutely down for it if you are! Since we did gloss over their reunion itself though for the sake of the TDM, if you would like to opt to do a proper reunion either for the event instead of considering it canon, or backdate or handwave one and keep the TDM thread, just let me know, I'm easy! Also DEDICATED to making Fran feel at home. ❤
