OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Tell us about yourself: Hello! I'm a graphic designer who loves drawing, video games, and making people laugh! I've run a video game stream for the past 11 years - please feel free to stop by on Thursdays and Saturdays at 8pm central! Uuumm. I'm still really nervous about being in a game this big. I can be a bit slow with tags especially since I work all week but I'll backtag forever so, uh, please be patient with me! I look forward to playing with you!

Character Name (Canon): Mash Kyrielight (Fate/Grand Order)
Tell us about them: I'm just gonna assume you know what servants are cause there are a ton of them in the game right now but lmk if you'd like a rundown of that. Basically Mash is a demi-servant (a human fused with a Heroic Spirit) - her class is Shielder. She is a member of Chaldea Security Organization's staff and is the long-suffering faithful first and primary servant of FGO's protagonist, Ritsuka Fujimaru. Together, they're fighting to save Proper Human History! Personality-wise, she's very kind, resourceful, and diligent. Quite sheltered but very book smart. Huge nerd. World's Best Kouhai.

She also comes to Avalon with Fou, her fuzzy companion. He's very cute and very sassy. Wants to kick any and all iterations of Merlin in the teeth.
Initial Ideas: Any and all CR is good CR! Mash is going to be eager to start learning about her magic as losing her demi-servant abilities kind of gave her a llllittle bit of an existential crisis upon arrival, nbd. She very much wants to be able to protect Ritsuka (who she'll kind of be following like a puppy at least for a bit, lol.) Beyond that, she's a helpful gal and will probably scope out the quest boards every month. The living pumpkin chaos going on currently will remind her of Halloweens back home so I'm very interested in playing that out if anyone is into that.
What is your favorite type of gemstone or crystal? Gosh they're all pretty, aren't they? I suppose I've always like aquamarines since they're my birthstone and all.

Hello Alex, nice to meet you! What an excellent assortment of characters. Gosh, though, I remember seeing him on the TDM a while back and being so surprised and excited to see someone playing him. That’s so cool weh.

Medea's from F/SN but she's been given the rundown of some of the Grand Order shenanigans from Kadoc (she has an unofficial pact with him), so will be very curious to see what sort of person Mash is.

Hello Amy! The pleasure's all mine. I... am basically canonblind to the Fate/ franchise outside of what I've absorbed second-hand and through F/GO (something that's on my bucket list of things to fix eventually along with finally playing DR, actually. What with me being here now, it might end up sooner rather than later!) Mash heard from Artoria that the Caster and Archer from the Fifth Grail War were here too so she'll be ~oN THE LOOKOUT~ for her!

Interesting- ironically, I came in only really knowing FSN and kinda picked up F/GO secondhand, so we're even on that front! Mukuro is made of spoilers for DR so do let me know if you'd like me to go easy on the spoilers!

Haha I can only imagine Artoria had lovely things to say about Caster! But yes, it should be interesting to see how it goes- Medea's not been told she's here, but she'll definitely recognise her name when they introduce themselves.
