OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Tell us about yourself: I am a huge fantasy/historical fiction book nerd, I am a violinist and a lover of all animals. You can expect cute videos on my Plurk in particular because the world needs more adorable. As for when I'm around? Who knows. My schedule is dependent on my health, so sometimes I'm up late - other times I'm up early.

Character Name (Canon): Padmé Naberrie Amidala Skywalker (Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith)
Tell us about them: She was a queen and then a senator and now she is officially a mother, though she has never held her tiny twins. Life hasn't been easy for Padmé, but she's alive! That's a plus. Now just give her a greatly weakened Palpatine to throttle. Mama Skywalker has had enough.

Other than all of that, she is much like Leia described her: kind and sad. She is also pretty crafty and capable of defending herself. Blasters aren't necessary; she can use whatever is on hand.
Initial Ideas: She needs to get her strength back first and foremost. Once she is able to help others, the sorrow will begin to abate. Padmé has never been a woman who just gives up.
What is your favorite type of gemstone or crystal? Sapphire or emerald. :3 Though pearls are lovely too. Also rubies? What are you doing to me.
Anything else: Everything you could ever wanna know all in one place!

If she needs physical healing, Gandra sciencerebel can provide her with treatment using healing magic.

Hanabi has been trying to encourage training activities to make sure people can be better coordinated and hopefully more successful during big rescue missions going forward. If Padme wants to encounter an overly serious ninja child and find her desire to help endearing, there's that CR option as well. :)

Hey Riddle! I saw Padme on the reserves and received apps, and while I'm far from being much of a Star Wars fan, the first set of "new" films were my introduction to the franchise. So I was pretty excited to see her.

If you end up wanting someone to help her get back on her feet, I'd be happy to toss Ziva her way. She's never been a parent but she knows a lot about loss and looking for the strength to get back up again.

She is also here to fulfill any of your Dumbass Shenanigans™ needs. :D
