OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Other Characters?</b> Or are you so fresh they could sell you at the farmer's market? <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name (Canon):</b> Character name (and what they're from!) <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. This will give people an idea of maybe how they can plot with their character and yours depending on potential interactions, but it also gives you a chance to gush about them to everyone. (We know you want to!) <b>Initial Ideas:</b> We know you're just getting started off here so you may not have any solid goals for where you want to go yet, but let us know if there's anything you're looking for to start off with! Types of CR, parts of the setting you want to play with, magic you want to have your character have a disaster with, whatever floats your boat. <b>Fall is upon us and there are a lot of flavors, in-season fruits and veg, and more. Tell us about yourself: A perpetually tired translator from Russia. If you add me on plurk, I mostly talk about my RP, mental health stuff and complain about work.

Character Name (Canon): Ardyn Izunia (Final Fantasy XV)

Tell us about them: Ardyn is a certified Badmans, here to attack people and have a good time doing it! Though to be fair he's rather lost the ability to actually have a good time a very long time ago, now he's just kind of a crazy, simultaneously self-centered and self-destructive, jauntily ruthless and nihilistically jaunty sociopath. He's also manipulative and utterly lacking in empathy, but good at putting on a front when he needs or wants to. He often acts quite friendly (if patronizingly polite and bordering on creepy sometimes), but it's not genuine in the slightest. Somewhere very very very deep down he still retains vestiges of being A Person, but good luck managing to break through his 50 miles thick emotional walls.

Initial Ideas: Avalon is kind of a nice vacation for him on the whole, and he would be curious to explore it; he likes learning new things! However, restoring time is the last thing he actually wants, so he would also look into ways to, uh, thwart everyone's efforts without drawing too much attention to himself as a villain. He would be likely to lure other characters into traps (and pretend he didn't know something bad would happen), as much for the fun of it as the actual effort to keep time frozen. His priorities would quickly reorient, though, once he learns that his brother Somnus is here: Ardyn is... quite obsessed with taking revenge on his brother, so that will become his main priority.

Fall is upon us and there are a lot of flavors, in-season fruits and veg, and more. What's your favorite fall flavor? Straight up I forget autumn is usually nicer in other countries; as far as I'm concerned, autumn tastes of cold mud. Still love it, though. I just drink a lot of cocoa and curse because my car's heater broke.
Anything else: Uhhh hm. Well, like I've said Ardyn is very much Not A Good Person so please let me know if you'd like to opt out of being tagged by him! I promise I'll set up my HDM page soon asdfshd
