OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Tell us about yourself: GMT / British, currently trying to find a house to buy, currently live on a smallholding and have sheep and chickens. I change my hair colour a lot, translate for a living, and when I'm not RPing (or doing related things like gaming, reading, consuming media) I enjoy cross stitch, trying to exercise, and pining for the days where I could travel freely.

Character Name (Canon): Century Egg / Food Fantasy
Tell us about them: Century Egg is a Food Soul, a humanoid construct summoned from the spiritual power in Tierran food (sounds weird, just go with it, it's a whole thing about how important food is to humanity) to serve a Master Attendant and fight Fallen Angels (essentially monsters). Century Egg was the Food Soul and confidant to a man who would, on his death, chain Century Egg into his tomb for hundreds of years, as Food Souls are functionally immortal and don't need to eat. (': He was eventually found and rescued by 2 other Food Souls, Cordyceps and Chishui Moth Tea, and pledged his loyalty to them in repayment.

That's a lot but just know that 1. his eyesight sucks because he spent "hundreds of years" trapped in a dark tomb (someone please realise this and buy him glasses), 2. he does not know shit about how the world works nowadays, 3. he really doesn't want to be abandoned again, 4. he's actually a sweet boy under all the trauma and effortless murder. He is pretty quiet and inexpressive, but likely to go along with things especially now that he's been ripped away from the Food Souls he was bonding with, and a very skilled fighter even without the magic boost of actually being a Food Soul.

Initial Ideas: UH YEAH he's gonna need people to trust. Whether those people are actually good for him or not is a completely different story, but if you're nice to him or help him out in some way, he'll probably be willing to listen to you. 😔 Beyond that, I do really want someone to help him get glasses and figure out the phones because Tierra probably didn't have that level of tech when he was buried alive (actually who knows if they have that level of tech now but they have mechs and motorbikes so 🤷‍♀️).

Also he has Dark magic and Death magic so if someone wants to get him using that... He's going to need instructions for doing anything for a while. Probably including eating. SIGH.

What is your favorite type of gemstone or crystal? OOOH. Hm. I really like Goldstone. There's a purple variant that looks like a starry sky.
