Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Tell us about yourself: 30-something healthcare worker in pediatric oncology and immunology--basically we help sick (cancer + immunocompromised) kids feel better! Married to the cutest girl ever and mom to two very old, very whiny babies. My main fandoms are FFXIV, Persona, Yakuza and LoZ, although I've come down with the Fire Emblem bug and I am afraid it's terminal. I'm also a huge musical theater nerd, so looking forward to being able to see live shows again whenever the world goes back to some semblance of normal.

Tell us about them: Not-so-local amnesiac that totally doesn't have some dark draconic entity living within her, waiting for a chance to plunge the world into darkness. I don't know what you're talking about. Clearly she's just some normal woman who had a very right-place right-time situation with a future king, and miiiiight have become the tactical mastermind behind him fighting off a neighboring nation sight unseen nbd (seriously chrom wtf why would you).

Ok but in all seriousness, Robin is a brilliant and genuinely good-spirited person who will do anything to protect the ones that she loves. Her ability to see and predict how a battle will go Also she will absolutely eat her weight in bear meat without a moment of hesitation, and if you don't think this won't come up at least once while she's here then you're a fool.

Initial Ideas: Honestly, with most games I tend to take things as they come. She'll be coming in from before the time-skip in game, so there are some possibility to do things with *SPOILERS*, I'm going to see how the intro and the first month in-game go before making any concrete plans. Well, except for being very ????! at every little bit of technology, like DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE KETTLES THAT HEAT THEMSELVES LOOK AT THIS SHIT.

But yes, hello! I don't know Hitman Reborn myself, but I think I remember Gokudera being super loud. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Welcome, Pearl! I'm Caprica and I have two here - Colette Brunel from Tales of Symphonia and Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket. I have yet to get into FE, mostly because I am a wimp and would feel bad about getting the characters killed because lol me and strategy, I couldn't even manage to finish Valkyria Chronicles. But she can join Colette in being still very ???!!! at some of the more advanced stuff here since Sylvarant where she's from was not the most advanced tech wise either.

I feel like we've been in a game together before, were you in Recolle?

Either way COLETTE AND KYO, I LOVE. Please let Robin befriend this sweet angelic girl. Also lmao I totally feel you about permadeath, although it's not an issue in most if not all of the modern FE games, otherwise I would be there in the wimp corner too. No one is allowed to die, this is a no death zone.

Also I never got super far into Symphonia (although funny enough I played Arche years and years ago), but she was definitely one of my favorite characters, if not my favorite.

Oh, yes! I was in Rec prior to this. Feels like forever ago that was! I had Sakura there with Luna's Syaoran.

Haa, that's good there's the option to avoid permadeath because yeah I would prob get most everyone killed otherwise since I am Not a strategy person lol.

Colette is taken from pretty early into the game (like. The Final Seal, just prior to them going to Tethe'alla and all) if that helps with spoilers? Kratos and Emil filled her in on the basics on things afterwards but. Yeah. Arche was my fave from what I did get to for Phantasia though! And Kyo is from the summer with the beach arc basically, after his meeting with Akito then.

Yeah ngl I'm also bad at SRPGs, so I wouldn't be able to play those games otherwise. And I thiiiiink I got that far in ToS, but it's also been years and years, so I don't rightly remember. Either way, I'll toss Robin at her, I think their CR would be really cute.

I am not alone in it then lol. But I have the basics down in her journal if you want to refresh. (Along with links to the manga, which is a quicker refresh for me than playing through of course.)

I don't currently have anything open for her that I recall from this month, I think I've mostly been tagging out but def you are welcome to poke her and/or Kyo when I do!
