Hi Avalon, new player here! I go by the name Yun, and I actually meant to app last round, but I somehow... missed the deadline. Yeah.
Anyhow, I'm bringing Zen from Zanki Zero: Last Beginning. Zen is a funny example of the "looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you" trope. He's all smiles despite his tendency to (intentionally) rub people the wrong way with harsh words in an attempt to push them away, and he puts on an aloof front, pretending he isn't a good person. And while he does have a few screws loose, he also has a kind heart underneath it all and often means to do good in roundabout ways.
His familiar is a sarugami because... well, to put it without spoiling anything, he doesn't quite like what monkeys remind him of. And he won't like the coincidence either, especially when he was in the middle of looking for a way of not having his past exposed to his fellow survivors back home. He's kind of used to the crazy and unexpected at this point, so he won't be very surprised by his new kinetic magic, though.
I'm still playing catch up on some TDM threads, which I'm open to keeping canon, whether they're still to be finished or handwaved. But feel free to poke me on![[plurk.com profile]](https://plurk.com/favicon.ico)

Zen was a troublemaker when he was younger, but the bad kind. Bad as in, violent bad. But even if he did outgrow those tendencies, canon still gives him a flipping 2 out of 10 in a "morality" scale. Plus he likes teasing people for fun, so yeah, I guess they're kind of similar?? Venti is still the bigger brat here, though!
Also, if slow tags don't bother you, I'd still be down for continuing some chocolate flavored chaos. Or handwaving that one to create bigger, event chaos, if you're interested!

Zen sounds so interesting?! And yeah-- Venti really is the bigger brat... He isn't violent but he is a brat and will steal things just for the fun of it or tease and annoy people just because he likes to make people squirm... He's actually a 2600+ year old god so he kind of just does whatever he wants all the time.............. LMAO He's also way smarter than he actually looks but when it comes down to it he's just kind of an annoying drunk.
I don't mind slow tags at all! More than happy to continue our thread !! I'll have a top level for Venti in the coming event too if you prefer that!

Maybe 2k in god years is like the equivalent of 10-ish in human years!? XD I love gremlin characters, they're the most fun to play and to tag. And I had the most delightful mental image of them having a drink together and then drunk!Venti annoying the heck out Zen!
I still have an idea or two in mind for the TDM thread, so the derp goes on a little longer. And I'll keep an eye out for your event top level!
