 Announcements for May:

• The first week of May sees some light sprinkles of rain, but otherwise seems to warm up to a nice 60-65F / 15-18C during the day and no lower than 40F / 4C during the night time. The third and fourth week of May, Avalon will be experiencing thunder and lightning storms with scattered rain showers, but the temperatures will remain about the same. 
• The following NPCs will not be available for appointment this month: King Arthur, The Lady of the Lake, Gwion. (Taymod is going on hiatus.) Merlin, Morganna, and Archimedes will still be available for appointment.

NEW Housekeeping Updates:

• New Title Added: The Compensated
  • This title is for the butt monkeys out there who have bravely gone through some shit. Players who allow their character to be experimented on, injured, killed, or otherwise the "victim" in at least 5 AC-length quest threads will have the opportunity to gain this title for their character. This title will work with quests from either the QuestBoard or the Dark Web, but only if your character allows themselves to be put at a disadvantage by another person completing the original quest. Camelot will provide these characters with a monthly stipend to help ease their suffering (enough to replace a regular job income), as well as immediate access to all Rewards-based Totem Recipes (excludes Toto's Totem) without purchase to encourage them to keep adventuring despite their experienced trauma! The title gives the same +1 bonus to quest threads on rewards once earned as other titles.
• Hiatus policy clarification: 
  • Hiatuses are intended to be for absence from game. If you use a hiatus, it counts for all of your characters. Players cannot take hiatus with one character one month, then another character another month to avoid completing AC on a regular basis. Thank you for understanding. If you declare a hiatus and no longer need it, please replace your hiatus on the AC spreadsheet with all of your AC links and reply to your original hiatus comment to notify moderators to clear the hiatus. As always, if you have a sudden emergency and need to declare hiatus, please PM the mod account or hit up mod contact to discuss an exemption. Thank you for understanding, the mods cannot keep track of hiatuses like this anymore.
• Calendar format updated: The calendar will be in a calendar shape going forward! It's easier to read, both on mobile and on desktop. It now shows the days of the week so it's easy to plan your RP and you can print it out and have space for writing in your own notes if you are interested in doing so! You don't have to, but we know some people like organizational stuff. Preview is here (67% font size, font is bigger in actuality). Will go live in May!
  • Taymod was gonna start doing it for herself to keep better organized so thought to share the printer-friendly version instead of doing it twice. To print, highlight the calendar from the month name to the end of the table (or include the special dates at the end if you prefer) and ctrl+P to print. 
  • As you can see in the preview, the calendar now has links to each of the referenced pages for extra navigational ease.
