Request: Fishy Nicknames for all!

Hello all!

I wanted both to bring something to others attention as well as check in and offer/ask for some help on the matter. My wonderful boy Floyd here has a habit of giving everyone he talks to water related nicknames rather than using their real names (normally fish related), whether they like it or not.

To keep with this I will be doing my best to also allocate future CR with Floyd to have nicknames, however I am more than happy or people who will want to help with their inputs on what they would like the characters to be named after. Sometimes the nicknames are based on visuals, sometimes personality. If you have something in mind or have a water animal you feel most works with your character, please do let me know as I would rather work with a CR to get a name you are comfortable with your character to have than to make up one that you do not like.

Some names are already taken within Floyd’s canon;
Shrimp, Crab, Mackerel, Sea urchin, Guppy, Crocodile, Earless seal
Goldfish, Sharksucker, Sea otter, Sea snake, Jellyfish
Sea turtle, Snapper, Sea lion, Betta, Black-tailed gull, Firefly squid, Sea angel, Nudibranch, Flapjack octopus
Red squid, Striped beakfish, Lobster, Seahorse

No CR yet, but Walter has a very black and white colour scheme, like an orca. They're also hunters by nature.

Weird, I was so sure I had answered this... seems DW ate my reply somewhere... or I sent it somewhere else... I hope it's the first of those two options or someone is going to have no clue what I am talking about.

I feel like something shark-themed would be fitting for Thrawn. Like maybe Mako, or, since he's blue, Blue Shark.

I do like Mako for him. I was going to be a little mean and joke maybe goblin shark though, heh.

Idk who Floyd will end up getting CR with yet but I intend on tagging him with someone. It's tough since Taichi knows Azul and Horus is acquainted with Jade, so if you have any preference let me know!

Taichi is canonly called dog/puppy/variations but all the sea puppies are already taken in that list.....

Horus is canonly falcon-associated (being.. a falcon-type god with wings and all...) which doesn't help at all so I submit to your judgment.

I also have Emerald if you're interested in Emerald. /o/ She doesn't have a canon animal association either so whatever works for Floyd.

(Also I would love some CR if you're interested in any of mine!)

Sadly you're right on most of the dog-like mammals taken. There is a mink which is water based and cute, but going by the icons and colouration alone my first guess for Taichi was flamingo. Not dog related sadly, and many of the fish with dogs in their names are not brightly coloured, which I think is a nice thing to try and keep to him.

As for Horus, I was going to just go a type of bird, but think it would be funny to have Hawkfish.

Emerald I would have to know who she is and what she looks like.

As for CR, any and all you think will be fun :)

Hiya~ They haven't met yet, but in the event that they do.....he can call Doppo water flea, if that counts? His team logo has a wolf on it but Doppo's got a negative view of himself and would sooner identify with a water flea than a super strong rawr wolf.

Haaa, that is a wonderful clip. Water flea most certainly counts for this, and if you're happy for that to happen I'm more than happy to carry along the joke from the canon.
