+1 Nerdling Princess (What? it seems to be what everyone else is doing XD)

Hi everyone!

I'm Milla and I hope you all are as excited as I am about this new game! I'm sort of new to DWRP (but not RP in general, just 'journal' RP) since my friends only introduced me to it a few months ago. I've only played in two other games abaddonia and prismatica both with this same kid, since she's basically my 'main' if we were talking MMO terms (You FFXIV players who have 'alts' know exactly what I'm talking about).

So this is Zelda, I'm sure the name probably rings a bell, unless you live under a rock or something (no shame, rocks can make great houses, ask the snails in my back yard). Although it would be understandable if you pictured a dude dressed in green at the mention of the name, in which case you should be ashamed of yourself! That guy's name is Link! (I kid, I kid, besides, Link wears blue in this game.)

Anyway, I picked the version of her from the newest title in the series, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild because I really like how much personality they gave her. She has some flaws like some self-doubt issues at her inability to awaken the powers expected of her in order to face a returning threat and can be easily flustered at times. She also has moments of being overly excitable about things, like when she finds a frog that's supposed to enhance someone's innate abilities and tries to get Link to eat it raw. Also she's an all around giant nerd because she researches ancient technology, flora and fauna.

PS: funfact- Princess Zelda in general has been my 'muse' since I was like 9 years old and didn't even know what RP was, starting with A Link to the Past, haha.

Pps: I have a really strange sense of humor, if you can't already tell...

OH WAIT! I forgot to say the things about this game! So her familiar is a cat-yokai called a Bakeneko that's usually kind of evil, but since the familiars don't intentionally harm their bonded, it's just going to be a giant jerk. She also has healing magic, so feel free to call on her to be your pocket healer for quests.

Hi Milla, and welcome to DWRP! I'm Candace and I play Nero from Devil May Cry here. I haven't played BotW, but it's definitely one of the first things I'm going to pick up once I get a Switch next month, because I've heard nothing but good things about it and Zelda's characterisation.

Thank you very much for the welcome! I think the last DMC I am even remotely remembering anything of was 4, but I would have sworn the MC in that one was named Nero? I don't remember a whole lot about it though, other than I really liked the opening sequence and the song that went with it haha.

I would love to have Nero and Zelda interact tho (if only so I can learn more about DMC5 myself haha! JK It really could be pretty interesting!) Feel free to yeet him at anything I post or if you don't mind me doing the same? lol

That's right! Nero is the main character of 4 and 5 along with Dante. He's gotten a haircut and mellowed out his attitude a little since way back when in 4, but otherwise he's pretty much the same.

And of course, I'll be sure to hit Zelda up!

I tried to play BlazeBlue way back a long time ago, but I don't remember why I didn't actually get too far. I remember I picked it up 'cuz a friend was cosplaying someone from it... Tao..something? Eh...I don't remember sorry ;;.

Ahhh yeah I get that, Blazblue is one of those fighters where its like, if you don't understand it's an easy drop. No worries though. I think the character you're thinking about is Taokaka, though

Taokaka! Yes! I mean, it's not so much that I probably didn't understand what's going on, it was probably more that I got tired of getting my ass kicked, knowing me.

I'm not the best at fighting games. I liked DoA because I had a friend to play with to carry me lol.
