Helper Mods Wanted! - CLOSED EARLY

Hello everyone! This is a recruitment post. Given the current workload, Tay's upcoming changes to her RL workload, and our desire to continue to provide timely and friendly moderation for players, we would like to open the door for 1-2 helper mods! Here's a brief overview of what we're looking for...

Duties that we are seeking assistance with:

Application Processing (Cian, helper mods- this will let Tay focus on event writing)

Adds/Drops - Taken list, community member adds/removals (All mods assist as available)

Post CR Meme, New Player OOC Intro, and EMP according to the monthly calendar

Optional:

If you are interested in assisting with NPCs, we can talk about it

Assist with projects as needed, based on interest

Quest Writing (Optional 1-2/mo. if you're feeling creative; all mods assist as available)

We are looking for a moderator who:

Is respectful and understanding towards other players

Is respectful towards themself and their limits-- no moderator should feel overwhelmed or stressed out while still doing their fair share of the moderator work. This should not feel like a full-time job at any point or interfere with your ability to enjoy the game.

Is mindful of cultures other than their own, both in regards to judgment of applications and respect of players and canons

Understands the need to protect the privacy of players who comment on screened posts, send applications, or send PMs to the co-moderator journal

Differentiates between reactions and responses when speaking to and of others, particularly if a disagreement occurs

Does not seek to micromanage players or gameplay

Knows basic use of Gmail and Google Sheets

We do not ask that you have any abilities with HTML, as we have no intention of creating posts with significant coding so that all moderators can easily update all areas of the game without a headache. We do not ask that you have past moderation experience, as long as you've got a positive attitude and meet the above listed qualities.
