Important Announcements for March

• March's weather is going to start warming up finally! The snow is largely gone and there will be a couple of clear days, but for the most part, the weather will be cloudy and cool in the 50-55F/10-13C range. Note that mornings, for the most part, will be covered in very dense fog until about 10am. Fog greatly enhances both water elemental magic and illusion (light) magic.
• Avalon will be celebrating the Spring Equinox this month. The Spring Equinox focuses on rebirth and renewal. There will be a bit of a push among citizens toward trying new things around town, so if you haven't tried something new, you may find yourself encouraged to do so. Egg dishes and dishes with edible flowers are particularly popular around this time of the year, and many residents will set up floral displays all throughout town. Rabbits are revered during this time and not allowed to be consumed, captured, or harmed. The general mood is lively.

NEW Housekeeping Updates:

• NPC thread appointments will be available starting in March, along with NPC profiles. We are starting with 5 appointments available per NPC per month. This is a tentative number and may be adjusted based on demand and mod capacity. Different NPCs have different requirements for contact. Activity for the month must be posted for the month of the requested appointment.
• The QuestBoard will have a Dark Web section added for the less chivalrous characters among us. Criminal title equivalents to Knighthood and Nobility will be added called "Unseelie" and "Arcane Mage." Specifications for each title will be added to the FAQ at the same time as the March QuestBoard is posted. UPDATED 2/26: FAQ section added.
• Because of the addition of the Dark Web section to the quests, both section will be switched to 3 Top Tasks and 3 Dark Web Tasks. (6 quests a month available instead of 5.)
