Heyo, Avalon! I'm Avery, and I'm new here! Just one of many fresh faces, I'm sure.
I'm bringing in an OC named Kaede, and a info post on him that I will finish (hopefully) soon is over here! If you don't feel like reading all of that the tl;dr is that Kaede is, essentially, a clone created to study the long-term effects of magical use. Using human subjects was deemed too unethical, and there were some other projects tacked on along the way for the pursuit of Science and Power. That's been the past twenty years of his life, and he... Totally super doesn't have any hangups because of it.
He's got his familiar, Ace, which is a creature unique to his home that nobody but Kaede calls a voidling! It's just a shadowblob cat with way more eyes than a cat should have, basically. He's also got cognitive magic, and you can find permissions to that over here if you don't want your characters to be effected by it!

I just finished reading what's been put down for Kaede's info so far, and besides sharing the same name, Lucy in particular could relate to being in a research facility and being experimented on.
Would it alright to accept our TDM thread as game canon?

Maybe they'll be able to be friends, tho I get the feeling they're both closed off about their pasts... HAHA. Either way, I have been enjoying their TDM thread, so I look forward to seeing Lucy around more. :>
