QuestBoard is an app you can download onto your smartphones. Each month, people around town will posts jobs asking for help with various tasks like building furniture, running errands, pet sitting, and more. Characters can make a living off of this if they choose to and assume normal day-to-day tasks you would normally find on an app IRL like TaskRabbit. Handwaved tasks do not earn credit toward gaining a title, but the special tasks labeled as this month's 'Top Tasks' in the app will gain clout for your character.

QuestBoard Top Tasks are the ones that are posted at the start of each month. Any character may complete them, even if they seem like a unique task, because time being frozen and magic mayhem are a recipe for weird time pockets resulting in multiple occurrences in the same space. (tl;dr there are no dibs, just have fun.) There are three kinds of tasks, each labeled with a symbol for its type:

= COMBAT QUEST (counts toward Knighthood OR Unseelie)
= ASSISTANCE QUEST (counts toward Nobility OR Arcane Mage)
= SPECIAL (see quest details) Combat and assistance quests are the most common and will appear every month. Specials are tasks that either fit both categories, neither category, or has some kind of exceptional reward. Special tasks are uncommon, so do not expect to see them all the time.

Each quest is worth 1 Rewards point unless your character has achieved Knighthood or Nobility status (See FAQ for more information), which both double rewards points.

Do not reply to this post to do a quest. Just thread out the quest and turn it in as instructed on the Rewards Points (Elphame Traders) page when you are ready to redeem. Threads must be started in the month that the quest was announced, though it may start at any day during the month and you may backtag as necessary. Feel free to reply to this post with questions about Top Tasks.

  Hello! I am asking anyone who is free to help me collect some money for a good purpose. I want to open a medicine shop, but I have no starting funds. You would also be helping to promote my new magical medical lip balms as I want you to help me open up kissing booths! Don’t worry, I have tested all of the lip balms and they work amazing and are completely safe. For rewards you get part of the payment and a set of lip palms as a gift!

  Lip balm effects: actually healing (minor wounds), cheer up (makes one feel happier), shields up (makes a magical shield around you for an hour), vacuumer (makes you able to inhale and store stuff in your mouth like a hamster for a half an hour)

  Need some help down here! A group of wild kelpies have been harassing folks fishing by the river, and they’ve got to be driven off before they hurt someone. Awful things, they lure you in all shiny-like, and once they got you they won’t let you go unless you answer a riddle right.
  
  If you get it wrong… it just ain’t worth thinking about! Drowning would be a better way to go, for sure. I wouldn’t wanna be cleaning that mess up off the bank.

  We need help bringing in our catswort flower harvest! The darkness is starting to kill the flowers off, and if we don't get them in quickly we'll lose the lot. We'll give you some lanterns and protective gear, but try not to breathe in too much of the pollen. Something about being under the Calamity's glow has made it really potent... and if you see any of our workers out there, bring them back in, would you? If you can, there's a little something extra in it for you.
  
  ((Catswort, also known as catnip, is grown by this farmer for use in some beverages and medicines. Usually the euphoric effect that it has only works on cats, but this particular lot has grown strong enough to cause just about anybody to exhibit similar symptoms. This can be anything from a sedated reaction, to heightened levels of affection, to wild zoomies!

  KNIGHT QUEST: This quest is available IC only to characters with the Knight title. Knights can invite anyone to complete the quest with them. Follow up to May Knight Quest. The Unseelie group has been found guilty of plotting treason against Queen Elphame. To further improve the relationship between Camelot and Elphame (and as a "reward" for finding out their plans) the Knights are being sent to arrest this group of Unseelie and bring them to justice.
  
  (This is easier said than done. There is a spy in the envoy that knows when they are planning on coming to arrest the Unseelie so they've prepared for a fight.   Mossatee birthing season is July, which means there are little rolly-polly mossatee babies all around. They're a delicacy to a certain band of fae up in Elphame, and I need you to capture them alive so we can provide fresh exotic food! They shouldn't put up much of a fight, you just gotta be fast!
  
  (OOC NOTE: Mother mossatees are very protective of their young and though they're normally friendly and derpy, their floral backs can grow into fierce, out-of-control thorned vines with any manner of toxins to fight you with.   I'm tired of all these froofy drinks. Why do I have to request that my coffee be coffee flavored!? Why isn't that the default! I'm declaring it RiGhT nOW: cast a spell on certain drinks at any coffee shop to affect the patrons with whatever you'd like and record at least one customer suffering for their decision to buy a triple-sweet almond mocha half-soy half-oat milk latte on the half-rocks with syrup made from rock sugar in the Ash Mountains (or whatever other nonsense).   Listen, you all know what the Fisher King's role was a long, long time ago. He was the protector of the Holy Grail. I've heard whispers that he left the grail in Nicnevin somewhere. Find it and slay anyone who gets in your way. I'll pay more money than you could conceive of in your wildest dreams for the real thing, mark my word. If you bring me a fake, do not worry, I will verify it myself and will still pay you for your efforts if it isn't real.
  
  (Note: There are, in fact, a few people going around Nicnevin right now claiming that they have the real artifact and are either "trying" to sneak it around town or sell it on the black market. They are not real and will start slowly draining the magic of whoever possesses them to gather magical power for the OP of this quest.
