This is super late-- I asked mods about this (daycare) and they let me know that Kaika Theater was doing it! May Souma notice the efforts and ask to help out? He is not experienced with kids and is a bit aloof/awkward but he cares and he's willing to learn. He would do anything needed to support. Happy to be a gopher, clean up, prepare/serve food, hang out with kids, pat backs/rock babies at naptime, tell stories, do puppet shows. No job he won't do, but he doesn't read well.

I'm not sure who would refer him to Kaika Theater but he would enjoy helping the theater group in general as well! Good messenger or stagehand. He briefly met Izumi and just started a thread with Ren, it might lead to him getting to know them. I think he would just walk by & go in and ask. He likes to work!
