OOC Intros

Welcome, new players and old players with new characters! This is the OOC Introduction post, made specially as a gathering place to meet and greet and get to know each other and our characters! Please take a moment to introduce yourself. You may do it any way you like or, if you're a fan of structure, please feel free to use this handy dandy copy-paste:

Don't forget to mention if it's OK for people to add you! <b>Pronouns:</b> Whatever they are, please include them so everyone can be respectful of who you are. <b>Other Characters?</b> Or are you so fresh they could sell you at the farmer's market? <b>Tell us about yourself:</b> Hobbies, favorite times to tag, pets, quirks, favorite times/styles to tag, anything you'd like us to know. <b>Character Name (Canon):</b> Character name (and what they're from!) <b>Tell us about them:</b> Give us a quick little introduction of your character, no more than a paragraph, to let us know a little about them. Other Characters? I'm new! I also spent like 10 minutes trying to come up with a joke here but my brain is melting atm
Tell us about yourself: I'm in PST and currently melting under a heat dome. I work at a tech company and my job involves a lot of reading so I don't always have the brainpower to do tags on weekdays, but I try! Hobby-wise I tend to dabble in a lot of things, but games are a mainstay. I recently got into Kamen Rider (watching W right now) and this song has been stuck in my head ever since. Now it's stuck in your head too.

Character Name (Canon): Turing (2064: Read Only Memories)
Tell us about them: The first sapient robot (ROM) who went into the world for the first time to solve the mystery of their kidnapped creator! This ended in a) sadness and b) all ROMs becoming sapient and Turing becoming known as the one who did it. Turing has only been outside for about a week of their year and a half long life, so there's a lot they haven't experienced for themselves, but they also have spent A Lot of time online so sometimes obscure trivia will just rattle out of them sometimes. Turing is not one of those robots who secretly yearns to be human either, as they very much like being a ROM!
Initial Ideas: I don't have many concrete plans, but one thing I definitely want to do is having Turing try (and maybe fail) to paint their Treant familiar!
What is your favorite type of gemstone or crystal? I don't know if this really counts, but I think geodes are real neat.
