Event Plans:

Maya's only really mildly interested in the singing competition, but if she'll actually compete will require a moderate amount of bullying her as she waffles over if she even should. The other events she might watch but mostly she's just not feeling it.

Even if she doesn't take part in the singing competition, she'll definitely be there to watch it. And maybe offer notes if anyone wants her help/wants her to play accompany (if she can find an instrument).

As to the whole 'attempt on Arthur's life' thing she'll jump to the side of 'believe the woman and do something' because Maya is terrible at leaving well enough alone.

BUT, she is very easy to bully into joining others for things if they want to just- drag this girl into having fun.
