Character: Sagi (Baten Kaitos) | [personal profile] scension
Familiar: Afterling
Magic Disciplines: Light/Technomancy
Event Plans:
Sagi is going to be hit very hard by Pooling Desire when the monster takes on the appearance of his girlfriend and could use someone to pull him away! He will be super pissed about it and probably fight back, but if he sees any of the siren's monster parts and can't willfully deny the ruse any more, he'll at least turn on it pretty much instantly. His angry side doesn't come out often, so I figure it could be fun either for new CR so that he has to deal with leaving that first impression, or for existing CR to reconcile with earlier impressions of him.

He will also be completely nonchalant about giving his blood for Indulge Me, but... not because he actually cares to indulge in the tourist attractions very much. (Maybe just a little...) It's more because he figures his soul is already fucked up by god bullshit as is and doesn't see it as that high a price to freely explore a slightly historical site he hasn't visited before. This would be a better than usual opportunity to get him to actually explain that, but it would also be possible to argue with him about it, or even persuade him to enjoy himself like the teenager he is for some of the day. Travelling to new places should be fun, you know?

For #ChaliceChallenge, he absolutely will try (and probably fail horribly) to attack the giant buff old man in an attempt to eliminate the choice. He isn't selfish enough to condemn someone else to drink the poison, so he's more inclined to brainstorm ridiculous alternative plans than go along with it even after that, but he's not very good at them - he can definitely help enable/encourage any character who's better at them, however! On the other hand, he isn't explicitly self sacrificing, so if your character volunteers for the poison first... whoops, he extremely won't stop them.

For Power Imbalance I'm willing to offer him as a selenite bracelet - andara would be boring as he would hand both bracelets back the moment he noticed, lol. Under normal circumstances it's easy to convince him to do a lot of things if you know how to push his JRPG protagonist buttons, but he really deeply hates the idea of being forced to, so he will hold a grudge for a while after the trials even if the orders are totally innocuous! Because of potential fallout I'll restrict this to pre-plotting rather than leaving it open, so shout if you're interested in that - getting new CR off on the wrong foot is something I'm totally down for too /o/

The other prompts I have fewer ideas for since his reactions will be relatively basic: for What's the Meaning of Stongehenge? he'll just start pushing rocks around willy-nilly to try and brute force the puzzle without a second thought or assist anyone working on it properly, for Schadenfreude he'd attempt a rescue right off the bat even if he resents them from the previous day (or else just endure it if he's in the stocks). I'm happy to hear any ideas you have though!

This month has turned out to be a(nother) slow month for me so I won't have open prompts for all six, but I'm down to write closed starters for anything! I am also 100% down for talking out the outcomes of threads in advance if it makes things easier for you, just let me know!
