For #ChaliceChallenge, how strict is the rule that each person has to drink from one chalice? Is it limited to just physically drinking from each chalice?

For example, would they be able to pour out the contents of the chalices or anything, and just have to drink out of the chalice for it to count? Or does one person actually have to drink the content of their chosen chalice?
