Important Announcements for April

April's weather is POURING down rain through most of the southern half of Avalon! The only areas not soaked are the upper half of the Land of Rot, the Forest of the Fisher King, and Celliwig. (Only partially accessible areas at the start of the month. More details TBA, but for the start, just think of the Archivist's as the only relatively dry area.)
The second week of April, the inn's first floors will get flooded, so you may end up having to bunk with someone on an upper floor!
The Red Spring's hot springs areas will not be available- an alternative prompt will be provided on the TDM for the hot spring area!
Because of the large amount of water, a number of water sprites and fairies will be visible around town. If you find one dancing in the rain, feel free to join in and they'll happily dance with you. Additionally, it's going to be wet enough that the Lady of the Lake is able to go on land and may be seen around Camelot City this month. NPC appointments with the Lady may take place in Camelot City instead of just the White Cliffs.

NEW Housekeeping Updates:

Helper mod applications have opened and will remain open until the 10th. Please apply if you're interested in helping out!
We are slowly but surely updating the taken list with the information you should provide here if you haven't already. It's taking a little bit (just because it's.. the whole game getting updated, really) so bear with us!

Monthly Updates Summary:

Taken list format was changed to accommodate the new information it will host (player pronouns, character preferred name, secondary magic type).
NPC appointments were opened for business at the start of the month.
OOC Player Intro posts were added to the rotation to condense OOC intros to a central location each month. A link will be posted to the top of the TDM once it goes up, provided in acceptance notices, and posted multiple times on the plurk.
Bestiary was updated with all creatures listed in events/TDMs/quests/etc. thus far.
FAQ was updated with information about secondary magic types. (Update content that was added to the FAQ is here.)

This is a short post. There weren't many updates, but they were large updates, so it looks like we didn't do much this month. :')
