QuestBoard - March 2021
QuestBoard is an app you can download onto your smartphones. Each month, people around town will posts jobs asking for help with various tasks like building furniture, running errands, pet sitting, and more. Characters can make a living off of this if they choose to and assume normal day-to-day tasks you would normally find on an app IRL like TaskRabbit. Handwaved tasks do not earn credit toward gaining a title, but the special tasks labeled as this month's "Top Tasks" in the app will gain clout for your character.
= COMBAT QUEST (counts toward Knighthood OR Unseelie)
= ASSISTANCE QUEST (counts toward Nobility OR Arcane Mage)
= SPECIAL (see quest details)

🌱 Dark Web Tasks 🦔Not the goody two-shoes type? Every realm that has the internet also has a dark web-- a place where illegal opportunities are rife for the taking. Characters may hear about how to access the dark web if they are going around trying to get involved in criminal activity. This is an alternate option for characters who would not seek out nobility or knighthood and wish to take a darker path toward the titles of Unseelie or Arcane Mage.
Note that while characters may complete tasks from either the QuestBoard or the Dark Web, they can only choose either Nobility/Knighthood titles OR Unseelie/Arcane Mage titles.
For more information about the new Dark Web titles, please check out the updated FAQ section on it!
QuestBoard Top Tasks are the ones that are posted at the start of each month. Any character may complete them, even if they seem like a unique task, because time being frozen and magic mayhem are a recipe for weird time pockets resulting in multiple occurrences in the same space. (Tl;dr there are no dibs, just have fun.) There are three kinds of tasks, each labeled with a symbol for its type:

Combat and assistance quests are the most common and will appear every month. Specials are tasks that either fit both categories, neither category, or has some kind of exceptional reward. Special tasks are uncommon, so do not expect to see them all the time.
Each quest is worth 1 Rewards point unless your character has achieved Knighthood or Nobility status (See FAQ for more information), which both double rewards points.
Do not reply to this post to do a quest. Just thread out the quest and turn it in as instructed on the Rewards Points (Elphame Traders) page when you are ready to redeem. Threads must be started in the month that the quest was announced, though it may start at any day during the month and you may backtag as necessary. Feel free to reply to this post with questions about Top Tasks.

![]() | Rabbits are revered during the spring equinox, and so a number of Pop-up Bunny Cafes have cropped up around Camelot. Lady Perinwa Bledsoe's pet rabbit, a royal angora rabbit named Sir Fuzzlerton, has sneaked out to hit up all the bunny cafes to try to find a mate. Search the local bunny cafes to find which one Sir Fuzzlerton has infiltrated and return him to Lady Bledsoe's manor before he makes too many bunny bastard children. His wife, Lady Fuzzlerton, back at Bledsoe Manor will be very sad if she finds out.
![]() | It seems there are thieves afoot in Camelot. Though not surprising, no place is without its criminal element after all. A local jewelry shop makes this request. It seems they had the misfortune of hiring one Snagglefoot Miffen, a low-tier thief. He has absconded with a red pouch containing precious gems commissioned already for pieces, and they must have them returned. Snagglefoot is rumored to be heading back to the Red Spring Inn, hoping to rent a horse from Archimedes and escape before he is caught. The task is to intercept him and retrieve these jewels by any means necessary. He’s not a violent character by nature, but he may take a little persuasion to give up the treasures when backed into a corner. Once he does, of course, the next task is to return him to Camelot, where he can be taken to trial for his misdeeds. Don’t worry if he slips away; he’s a wily sort of man. Just make sure he didn’t take the jewels or some of your belongings with him!
![]() | The time to prepare for planting is coming, while magic is important so is the local food supply. With new arrivals coming in at such a steady pace the farmers of Avalon are in great need of assistance in seeing to their fields to prepare them. The request is made of any able-bodied adventurer to please come to local fields and participate in this prep. Volunteers will help clear the fields, turning soil, preparing the planting ground for the upcoming season. As well as a few healers to cast a one-time use magic spell over the hay removed from the fields, after all, horses have to eat too. For the end of the prompt, there is the option to have your character take the trip to Rent-A-Ride, their room in the Red Spring will be comped if they do not have a totem and must make the trip the old fashion way and deliver the repurposed hay to the stables. A tame quest for sure, but be careful, critters and the like sure do like to nest under that hay, be wary of scaring up any hidden nest of pixies or fairies, best to work in pairs!
🌱 Dark Web Tasks 🦔
Note that while characters may complete tasks from either the QuestBoard or the Dark Web, they can only choose either Nobility/Knighthood titles OR Unseelie/Arcane Mage titles.

![]() (CW: Beheading, human spine whip) | We need you to smuggle a package into Celliwig. Don't open it no matter what you do, and go fast. We have a woman who'll meet you outside the city, and if you stop you're sure to die so go fast. ((Not in the posting: This quest is to smuggle the head of a dullahan into Celliwig. The headless horseman will follow and attempt to kill your character for the entire travel, so this is dangerous even if it is a smuggling job and therefore considered assistance as it can technically be completed with very creative running and hiding.))
![]() (CW: Violence your choosing) | Rough up the goblin Greg’nok’tok, known on the streets as Greg the Goblin and send a message about what happens to those who slight the requester (Don’t worry, Greg knows who this message is from). A reward of 50,000 Gold is offered with the warning to take a friend, Greg and his Gang have been known to like a good fight. They can be found in a seedier tavern on the edge of Camelot that boasts a rougher clientele. There is no bonus if Greg loses what’s in his pockets at the time of this altercation, but the requester will remember those who go that extra mile, may benefit in the long run.
![]() (CW: Drugs/mind-altering magic abuse) | We need someone to steal crystals from the Red Spring. Harvesting the crystals will be dangerous because people will stop you if you're caught, and they're underwater. It must be during the full moon. When you get them and bring them to us, we'll give you a sample of the product we make out of them, plus a healthy cut of the profits. (Note: They are producing a euphoric magic powder that when snorted can cause massive magic channeling, mind-blowing hallucinations of floating through space, uncontrolled floating, and general euphoria. It can also cause magic overload as a side-effect, which can cause people to be unable to use their magic for periods of time, physical addiction, fatigue, and damage to the body that cannot by healed by healing magic.)
