They are just a group of bandits, not any manner of organized crime.

Each of them has short-range weapons such as axes, maces, morningstars, hammers, and thicker short blades like koras and machetes. Though they don't appear to have much in the way of armor, orcs have extremely tough skin that makes it difficult to pierce.

Note that actually seeing the details of any of these items may be difficult without a light mage or elemental mage creating well-placed fire (don't want to burn down the camp after all). It is extremely dark that late at night, particularly given the lack of ambient light from the city as most city functions tend to shut down before then. Unless someone uses light magic, fires at the camp would've mostly gone out by bedtime.
