Yeah! The magic system is surprisingly thorough...for a game that doesn't actually observe how these elements interact except in one niche area LMAO

Each element is effective against two types: the pink/green ones have their individual scissor-paper-rock type weakness going on as you can see, but each element is also said to interact with the one directly after it. It's explained better here. That's not to restrict you but give you ideas since Avalon works differently.

But yeah, Hijikata will find himself a very useful mage with all that going on. And Emet will be peeved to see someone else using his magic. XD Enjoy your week of being akin to a god.
