What the F: Hijikata didn't make a wish at the bonfire, so he'll be hit with random effects! Ideas I'm toying with for him are super strength (he already had to deal with that every month back on Prismatica), sensing the air (he may unlock air magic as his next element after fire, so this would be a nice introduction), magic swap (though I'm not sure what to give him yet), turning into a bull when touched (he's an Ox and a Taurus), and/or objects he touches turning into mayonnaise bottles (which would honestly be extremely risky since he might just turn someone's precious heirloom into that).
The Silent Shore: He'll come along, because of course he will, and be pretty damn freaked out by the Land of Rot (undead skeletons, fine, but why is there a zombie apocalypse in this RPG?!). If any survival horror characters need emotional support he'll try his best - he doesn't have the highest EQ, but he feels for them (he got to know Rebecca Chambers from Resident Evil back in Prismatica and was shocked at how shitty a place she was from). At night he'll be ready to fight the orc bandits! He's used to sleeping with his sword by his side. If anyone needs assistance he'll be your man.
Gnome More Problems: If anyone wants to be trapped in an elevator with this "charming" man, maybe find out something about each other at the bottom when questioned by the gnome, and do some research together (we can handwave any part of it if it's not all up your alley), let me know! I think I'll make this one a closed prompt. Back home he'll be upset about having to stay inside for a whole day, but he'll stock up on food and books (for more assorted research)... unless someone wants to have a sleepover wakeover!
