Character: Gyro Zeppeli from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure @ [personal profile] goldenphi
Familiar/Magic: a chonky little pegasus that he absolutely is too tall to ride on, and alchemy
Event Plans: Gyro is a confident guy and he's absolutely going to enter at LEAST two of these competitions; he's paired off with someone he's going to spend most of his time arguing with for the kinetic and alchemy tourny but i'm open to another of any magic type for either the non-magical or the magical melee. Gyro's weapon of choice has been depowered upon entering this place (and he's NOT happy bc he remains convinced it was a 'technique' and not a 'power' (he is mistaken)) but he still thinks he'd have a fair chance at winning. (That remains to be seen, and I'm not at all attached to him winning or losing, just whatever's more fun for the plot.)

Maybe someone else with alchemy or kinetic magic even was one of his opponents in that tourny event, who either beat him or lost to his team - happy to have sore losers arguing it out afterwards (or maybe your character is more gracious than Gyro is!). Gyro is the sort of person who can go quickly from deadly serious to, when not in 'on the job' mode, can get very...silly. He's highly trained and intelligent but often loses sight of small details; I'm hoping to get new CR for him of just about any variety. He's both an easy personality to clash with, but easy to turn soft enough to help - despite his attitude problem, Gyro is a strongly moral person with a tendency towards sentimentality even if it puts him at risk. He's definitely available to help anyone injured in their events, and could even turn soft for someone he's just personally beat in a fight, if he thinks they're seriously hurt. (He's equally able to be tricked in this regard, so if yours would play dirty, I implore you to go for it!)

Other Notes: here's a man who was training to be a surgeon demonstrating his people skills
